Love the output - Zero stains incurred in process
I love wacky colours on my head and I have gone Burgundy to red to orange to candy pink and eventually violet. And I feel violet is here to stay. I have been using Paradyes on pre-bleached hair and so far had no complain but for the fact that it washes away very fast. Like 8 to 10 washes.Hence I came to amazon looking for something that lasts a little longer. And oh man the feedback on this blew my mind, local and global. Thus is decided to try this. However, there is one thing that scared me was the part where almost everyone said that Pinky, stains everything!I was quite worried that I might look like smurf by the time im done washing it off. So, I got my best ammunitions at hand to combat that. And Viola! I dont look like Smurf !This is what I did....okay one another thing before that...the consistency on this is very thick and gel like and its super pigmented. But its a 100% non drip. And I used the color direct from bottle with no additives. Now getting into how I achieved a headful of violet without staining.Tools list :Surgical Gloves - 1 pair( available in drug stores, by the way they are gradient blue now )Coconut OilA Black TowelBefore I started with the colouring process, I smeared coconut oil all over me .....face, ears, neck (front and back), shoulder and the full length of my arms. Once done wore the gloves and dipped my fingers into the jar of violet.Once done with the color on my head, I washed out the gloves and waited like a little more than an hour. When it came to showering, once again I took help from the coconut oil....smeared my whole body with a lot of it starting from face to the tip of my ttap. to the extent that it looked like I took a dip in a barrel of oil. Put on the gloves, again and went in for the wash. Instead of the shower, I used the tap. I hung my head in the cold water ( its important that the water is cold when we wash semi-permanent colours, hot water opens up hair cuticles thus bleeding out the color molecules ), and massaged away the color with my fingers till the water ran clear ( and I have no stains on the bathroom floor neither on anything with is white or of a lighter colour ) and kept the water running till all the color washed out of the bathroom tiles ( I turned on the hot water while at this ). While tge water worked on the floor I rinsed my hair with the black towel and used a color protect conditioner on my hair. While the conditioner sat, I used a warm.shower and a shower gel to wash off the oil from my body ( coconut oil is very hyd rating and even after a warm shower, my skin was soft and supple with no dryness at all ). Once, done with that I turned on the cold shower and washed the conditioner out.It was a bit tedious process and required a bit of extra cautios prep, but its worth the trouble. Im not blue, my bathroom is not blue and I dont look like smurf !The color turn out is amazing, I had to wait out the night for my hair to dry up just so that I could take a picture in natural light. While under the light ( white light / tube ) the color outputs a blue shine, in natural light ( sun )it throws up a vibrant purple shade ( little darker than the catalogue color violet ) but thats what I wanted and im so loving the result. Hair feels amazingly soft and loved. I just cant keep my hands off them 😂😂😂Few things to note:Im not worried about the bleeding post color, all semi permanent colors bleedPre-lightening is the key to get the correct color output and vibrancy any semi permanent color has to offerAlso hair health is very important, after bleach and color, hair care routine should be packed with a good purple / blue shampoo to tone the underlying brassy tones ( yellow/orange/reddish untertones )Color protect shampoo and conditioner is a must. I have added some violet / purple dye to the conditioner since I went purple head a month or two back. This helps restore the vibrancy of the color while you condition the hair.Optional is to get a color deposit shampoo, which I intend to getDo not wash your hair for 72 hours from time you have colored your hair, that's the amount of time it takes for the color to settledown in the hair cuticlesAlways wash your hair with cold water ( hot water rinses out more color as it opens the hair cuticles )Keep heat styling to minimum ( same reason as hot water ). Instead try to use non heat methods to style like a good after wash gel...I use Fix My Curls - Curl Quenching Jelly ( I have straight hair however this jelly works better than most other hair gel ). Because this is created to hold curls ( which is very hard to set other wise), the formula once applied to rinsed hair, upon styling, works great in holding straight hair for atleast a couple of days before you wash it againInvest in a good dry shampoo, it cleanses and adds volume to the hair without affecting the color as opposed to a wet washIncase you have to heat style, invest in a good heat protect serum or sprayHope this helps !

Vermilion red on level 8 bleached hair
I got the Vermilion Red colour from this collection. The amount of colour is enough for an entire head of shoulder length hair but anything longer or thicker hair will need more product. Maybe it can be diluted with a developer since the colour is a jelly-like paste. Also, it smells like bubble gum, which is so cute. I kept it on for 2 hours and the result was very bright red.For people with brassy yellow level 8 bleached hair like mine, this will look more warm red than pinkish red like in the picture. My advice: try buying a colour cooler than your desired shade. The warmth of your yellow/orange hair will even out the cool hue.I have washed it 5 times now and although the colour has remained warm and vibrant, it bleeds everywhere. Stains on my pillow case, bathroom, back skin, etc. Beware of this. Other than that, no hair problems.

My favourite dye
I've used manic panic before (purple) but this is the only dye that has actually lasted the number of washes it says on the box. It might fade a little but the pigment REALLY stays on strong.I had dyed on level 7-8 bleached hair and it looked turned out beautiful and vibrant. I had to reapply it every 1-2 months for a rich look, with once a week wash. I keep coming back to this look.

It transfers till it lasts
This product is terrible. Not a single time when I washed my hair it was not bleeding. It will transfer all over your body, clothes and washroom. You say the product is herbal but it’s not

I used half the bottle on my medium blonde
It's the second day to the colour but I'm still impressed . I've tried other brands with medium blonde and they don't go well.I know red colours go by easily after washes so i need to test that and will update if any issues. I'll be washing my hair every week and with a shampoo/conditioners specific for coloured hair. Anyways I LOVE THIS PINK . It's very punk so go for it . BTW i used a developer 20 . So might be a reason for better results and silky hair

Fades very fast
It fades very fast. I've used other imported brand also but this one doesn't stay for a long time. Don't buy the blue colour of this brand. Blue one bleeds and stains everything. Pink is okay but fades fast even after using colour protectant shampoo.

THE BEST
A tiny blob of it mixed with conditioner is enough to get pastel colors and it smells so freaking gudd!! literally obsessed with it. The shade violet is extremely pigmented so it will last me a lifetime probably.UPDATE:Ive literally experienced 50 shades of violet with just this one jar, ive gone dark deep violet to pastel lilac to soft baby pink to rose gold....It fades absolutely beautiful.its been almost three months and im not even halfway done with the product(i touch up like every 4-5 wash with product diluted in conditioner sometimes shampoo too)Literally could last me until i get bored of this color. Awesome product! totally dig it

Good product, unclear instructions
This review is specifically for dark brown hair.1. Hair must be bleached before applying colour! The box says you don't need to but the colour is barely visible on unbleached hair2. The colour will stain the bathroom floor and the stains won't fully come out3. The colour was a light blue for the first week then turned emerald green.4. Colour lasted around 2 months then started becoming dull5. Make sure to keep colour on for at least an hour before washing off6. Gloves necessary when applying colour to avoid staining nails. Stains last for around 2 days if not cleaned using warm water, acetone and moisturizerOverall good quality product. Colour does not ruin hair texture and is very vibrant for 1½-2 months. Care must be taken to follow the above points. These results have been found on the basis of observation, and trial and error.
