The septum rings with the scream in the ball always fall out on me no matter what I do so far this one is hold on super well

I’ve had cartilage piercings since the early 90s, and worn posts, hoops, silver, gold, and even sewing thread when I had a more conservative job a couple years after college. I let most of them close, but kept the topmost ones. Hoops always work best as I’m a side sleeper, and I had to start wearing 18k gold when my ears got super sensitive a couple years ago. I thought I’d try titanium, and I’ve always loved the look of a circular barbell. I was happy to find smaller gauge titanium circular barbells, though I don’t know why I never looked online before, just never crossed my mind to check. Duh. I ordered 2 and they came the next day. They look exactly as expected, and I was able to put them in without issue. I initially didn’t know the difference between the internally and externally threaded, but got a lesson in reading reviews, and I agree, internally threaded feels more secure. It was a little tricky to aim right, but once I made it in, it just screwed right in. Righty tighty. I don’t even feel them, they’re easy to sleep with, and haven’t irritated my ears at all. They’re really good and I replaced a cheap piercing with this one for obvious reasons, the ball was super easy to put on (yay!), however, taxes and shipping brought this price up to 17 dollars- the balls were also very close so I had to stretch them apart. I did noticed that they were a little loose in the packaging so please watch out for that, I didn’t have a problem with how loose the balls were, I just tightened them up. Other than that, I’d recommend it as your first one. And please, put down a towel or something right under you when you’re trying to put on the ball. I was forced to buy two because I lost one of the first ones.

After having my septum heal super fast after initial piercing, I was bothered by soreness, tenderness, and odor after I changed out the original piercing jewelry to some “cute” inexpensive pieces I had bought here on Amazon and on Wish. Big mistake. Within a few days of changing it out from its original jewelry, I noticed the foul smell I had read others complaining about. A week or so later, one side became very tender and was unrelieved no matter what I did with saline or simply leaving it alone. I contacted a very reputable piercer in the area who explained to me that even though pieces online were described as “stainless steel “, “nickel free”, or “hypoallergenic “ they are often times made of very cheap and sometimes dangerous materials which cause inflammation and even infection. He instructed me that I needed to do the research in finding a real TITANIUM or stainless steel piece from a reputable jewelry company. Fast forward to only 24 hours after inserting this new piece: already the tenderness and odor is gone. The gauge is standard 16g 8mm which is a bit smaller than the 10mm I’ve been used to wearing BUT seems to fit much better to my septum anatomy. I’m so glad I found this brand of ring, which ALSO is much more user friendly than the typical threaded balls/barbell. See the details on how this one is put together. I highly recommend this 8mm semi circle for those who have had the same issues as I have or to AVOID having these issues after your initial daith, rook, or septum piercing. Thanks so much! This tho g is so small can barely have room to put this annoyingly invented ball stem into hole it’s ridiculous how hard this is to put in and out the sizing between ball to ball is so small and if you’re an adult your septum is wider than the spread so can barely fit it thru overall I wouldn’t buy rings ever again unless I buy in person

I will preface with the possibility that i may have been sent the wrong size, I ordered 16g but the packaging says 10g? Either way, getting another one of my rings through was cake, trying this one had taken 10+ minutes, and was borderline painful. Comparing the physical size of the two, they were nearly identical in the width of the gauge. Also instead of being wider where the bearings attach, it was almost a completed circle. I've never seen septum jewelry like this. Not sure if I got a dud but also not sure if I would recommend this product. I've tried putting it through so not sure if I can be refunded or send it back.

Like the shape of the horseshoe, good size and quality.The only downside is that the balls are too close to each other to be able to flip the jewelry inside. (Some people would prefer them to be that close for the look tho)

Pro tip: wear latex gloves when tightening. (Makes it easier to grip the balls while twisting so you can really crank it on there.) This appears to be a great ring. I normally wear an 8 mm hoop that sits comfortably close to my skin, but decided to get a 10 mm I’m this for a larger appearance so it actually dangled. I stretched the ring a bit wider at the balls when I opened the package, because originally the opening was quite narrow. Metal was difficult to stretch, which makes sense given the type.I just put it in and will update if anything changes!

La calidad del piercing es muy buena, con la excepción de las roscas, tengan cuidado y revisen que estén apretadas por lo menos cada 2 días, al 3 día de habérmelo puesto una de las bolitas se cayó y jamás pude recuperarla, la ventaja es que al ser de titanio hay repuestos en la mayoría de las tiendas de perforación de tu ciudad, otro dato a tomar en cuenta es que la pieza viene muy cerrada por lo que dificulta el poder ocultarla para el trabajo o para cualquier cosa que sea necesaria, tampoco la recomiendo como pieza inicial por lo mismo, por venir demasiado cerrada, al punto de casi parecer una argolla, fuera de eso es una muy buena pieza
