Great!
Though a noob to the sport, first thoughts & uses on this paddle are top notch. Light as heck. Adjustability is super great - not only length but also offset, with easy to read marks to get back to your favorite positions. Gorgeous fit & finish. I do worry about the tiny bit of exposed mechanism when it's in two pieces for storage / etc. - seems like it'd be easy to accidentally bash it, & it doesn't look particularly rugged - not sure re: the functionality of that particular piece (internals are seemingly magic once it's together & the lever is actuated), but would be easy to get a little rubber cap of some sort - it's on my list! Literally the only 'con' (if so) thus far. Bit pricey, but worth it so far imo! Great paddle.

SUPER Light, EXCELLENT quality, steers my Pungo 125 great!
What a great paddle! I was hesitant to spend this kind of money on a paddle, but after a 5 hour float, comparing a standard paddle against THIS carbon fiber unit, there is a MILE of difference. Your arms are 60 percent less tired, it steers your boat without effort and it is STRONG! Pushed off beaver dams, off the banks and many other obstacles with no problems. If you want the best, BUY THIS! You will not regret your purchase.

I love this paddle!
This paddle is super light! My spare paddle is a part-carbon Bending Branches, and as light as that is, this one is like a feather. It's a bit scratched up already, from pushing away from the bank, avoiding submerged rocks that made a quick appearance, etc, etc. And if you think you would be saddened for that to happen to your paddle, at this price point, remember that this is a tool; it's made to be used. Can I justify the price? Hell yes. There are MUCH cheaper paddles on the market, but after a four hour, casual 7 mile trip on a local lake, I felt no more weight after the 6th mile than I did after the first. I'm sure most brands (particularly those made of aluminium, or aluminum) are deigned to get heavier with each mile paddled. If you are going to enjoy the summer on the water, and you can afford it, don't 'cheap out' on the paddle. Trust me on that. And if you do opt for the 3-4 lb paddle for $40, remember me at the end of a 10-mile trip (if you make it that far): "You know there was this one guy, on that one web site, who said this one thing... I wish I had listened."

Very well made and styled
Lightweight and efficient paddle. Locking mechanism works securely and is nice for sizing length for comfort on different kayaks. Plus it certainly looks awesome!

Great paddle.
Great paddle. Light weight. Easy to take apart and put together. We have a tandem kayak and my partner bought a much cheaper paddle. Mine is sooooo much easier to use. I am an older lady and I have no trouble doing my share of the work with this paddle. Glad I spent the money.

Received damaged
Would have been a nice paddle to match my kayak, but it was received scratched and dented and appeared to have been packaged that way. It was too expensive to keep in substandard condition, so I returned it immediately for a credit.

A joy to use!
I’m thrilled with this purchase. I have Pungos and a Tsunami in Mango, and have had many complements on the color matching paddle. More importantly, it’s super functional. I love how adjustable it is; that made me more comfortable making a more expensive paddle purchase. This will work for any user in any kayak with its length and feather adjustments. It’s super lightweight, comfortable to hold, efficiently shaped, and really a joy to use.

Looks nice. Lightweight. Overpriced. Pick something else.
If you want me to be honest... I like the performance of some of the lower end paddles more than this one. Sure, it looks great and matches my Pungo 125, which I love dearly... but, it just looks cool and is lightweight. The super stiff blade doesn’t have that smooth feel in the water as the other paddles Have. I spend MANY hours each week on a lake and own four kayaks. This paddle just sits at home on a rack. I’ll sell it for a reduced but reasonable price to prove my point.
