THERMOTABS Salt Supplement Buffered Tablets 100 Tablets (Pack of 2)

I use this for cycling to help prevent cramps. I see lots of reviews complaining of stomach upset. If you are taking as directed with a full glass of water you might want to try a different approach. I use a pill crusher and then add to my carbohydrate/electrolyte drink, Gatorade/water mixed 2:1 or other similar. 2 crushed tablets to 24 oz. liquid. Shake before each drink. Drink about one large 24 oz. bottle per hour. Been using these for decades. If I ever feel a cramp coming on I put one in my mouth and let it dissolve completely and follow up with plenty of water or drink.

I have been using Thermotab for years and have never been disappointed. I use it in Summertime when I go out in the sun, especially if I am working in the sun and also during the winter when I am inside and I feel dry. They help me recoup quickly under both circumstances.

Prefer this brand of salt pill. Does not upset stomach.

I suffer from occasional cramps in my feet or legs. I keep a supply of these salt tablets with me at all times. If I experience a cramp or a cramp coming on, I just pop one of these tablets in my mouth with several swallows of water (beer usually) and wait a couple of minutes. The cramp then eases up.

Tastes like salt, but that's to be expected lol

During gardening season I work outside a lot. With the heat and working hard I tend to sweat a lot and at the end of the day I used to get severe leg cramps from salt depletion. I take a tab before going out to work and seems to help with this a lot.

I'm pretty big guy and upon sweating a lot, can cause my Electrolytes to drop quite a bit, when working very heavily. up. Since we normally drink Reverse Osmosis water (which removes all minerals), even with drinking the Gator Aid, I find that this product will for sure put my Electrolytes back up to where they should be.

These are great for someone who has POTs/ dysautonomia. I don't like the taste of salt so these are perfect for me and anyone else who doesn't like the taste of salt, who suffers from dysautonomia.
