After only having this pepper spray for a short time, the little part That guards the button you actually push down, somehow, went missing. It broke off, but I called the manufacturer and believe it or not. A woman answered the phone. After like the second ring I did not get an answering service. I got a live person, she was super nice. I told her with the problem was she immediately sent out a replacement part I had it with five days snapped it right back into place and it’s been good to go ever since so not only is a good value for the money for what you’re getting with this particular unit, but the customer service was amazing from the manufacture

Got two so I could test one. It 100% reachs 16ft .. probably more. After spraying I walked towards where I sprayed and before I got all the way to the tree.. it wasn't pleasant and got me to move away. Wife thought it was funny. Happy to have it for situations where the CCP based defense is way to much to stop the situation.Also glass breaker is a nice touch.

Protecting people in style. I can always count on the Sabre brand for good personal protection sprays. The size is … thick but it carries a punch. Overall very happy with the quality of this product and packaging!

A great value pack! There’s a window breaker on the bottom end and a seat belt cutter! I love that it’s pepper gel over pepper spray, so there is minimal chance of splash back whenever sprayed. I wish it came in a pink or purple color though. Beware, if you drop it multiple times the spray nozzle may come off and you’ll have to put it back in place so be careful of that. That’s the only reason why I give it 4 stars over 5. Other than that it’s a great item, and I feel safer having it! (: I definitely will repurchase!

It felt lose and when I sprayed it it works very well other than that it's a good spray for self defense and good for seat belt cutting and windows breaking in serious situations thank you sabre red

I haven't had to have to use this yet but I always have it attached to my fanny pack when I take my dogs there alone. The trigger button ended up falling out... So EVERYONE who is giving this a low rating because of a button... listen carefully. All you have to do is email SABRE and they will give you a brand new one as long as you don't wait 2 years after you buy it, to let them know, trust me I almost did the same thing! 🤣) but seriously, please stop being lazy and hit the button that says something was wrong with your item... This is a good company that does make good quality products.

Update October 2020:I've barely gotten to carry this pepper spray due to the pandemic - it's been carried approximately 12 times total and never been dropped. It snagged *on my shirt* as I squatted to lift a bag of wood bark and shattered - again. The broken, glued-up frankenstein nozzle is prior damage from the very first time I sprayed it, but the rest was incurred by a *cotton t-shirt*. The tab that broke this time was directly across from the one I had glued back together originally, which was apparently stronger for the glue.Absolutely do not buy this. I wouldn't trust it to function if you needed to spray someone, let alone break a car window.Sabre Red's older model was excellent - never broke, always worked on the first spray when I tested it every year. I'm putting the new canister from this piece of junk into that.-----------I've been using Sabre Red for years. When my last canister expired, I decided to try this model.The first test spray, it foamed and leaked all over my hands and keyring, which I attributed to pressure changes from shipping. I washed the gel off the canister in the sink, and some gray shards of plastic fell out when I tipped it upside down. The button was loose and rocked back and forth - the ring that attached it to the nozzle had broken into several pieces on the first use. I then proceeded to take off the bottom where the key ring attachment is so that I could remove the button and fix it, and the black plastic tab that holds the bottom on also broke.A little sanding and a *lot* of super glue later, it sprays well without leaking and appears to be solid. I reinforced certain parts around the nozzle before putting it back together, and glued the bottom on entirely - it's no longer removable to replace the canister, but at least I know it won't fall off my keyring. But I'm not particularly confident that it will last, and a little hesitant to rely on it. The other model I usually purchase (the one with black casing with fingerholds and a similar slide-under safety over the button) lasted for five years, was more comfortable to hold, and never failed when I tested it once a year. The plastic on this one seems terribly brittle, right out of the box.It's a neat concept, but I definitely will never buy this model again despite my deep affection for this brand of pepper gel. No point in having pepper gel if it may/may not work when you need it.

So I love this for a couple reasons. One I love the fact that it is a pepper spray gel, I keep it in the office with me since I'm alone and I deal with the public on a self-storage facility. Secondly I love the fact that I can keep it in my car and even though I don't plan on driving near any lakes it's always good to have to break out the window and slice the seat belt if necessary. I love the safety and the fit and I clip it on to my keychain when I'm walking around the property
