I have plenty of super clamps already but was intrigued by this different design. It does open wider than traditional clamps which was a big selling point for me. The pin receptacle was also another selling point that interested me. On a typical super clamp you have to push down down on a button to have the pin snap in place. On the barracuda all you have to do is push the pin and and it snaps in place. The tightening mechanism is pretty cool and easy to use. The only down side is that it can be a bit obtrusive in small confined areas. It is advertised to better maintain its tension better than a super clamp, I can't prove that it does, it has been rock solid for me so far. The clamp also features 1/4" and 3/8" screw in points for attaching accessories. It is a tad overpriced in my opinion, perhaps $29.99 might be a fairer price point as I am not convinced its worth twice the going rate of traditional super clamps....but....beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It's a nicely engineered and well thought out product that I would recommend if you are looking for the feature set that this clamp offers.

Made well, heavy duty and performs as it should. You won't be disappointed. Money well spent for me.

同程度の商品としては銀一のクランプの方が金額的には安いのですが、細かい部分の品質などはこちらの方が上な気がします。マンフロットなどで同じような商品を買うとなると2割ほど高く付くので、バランスの良い商品であると思います。肝心のグリップ力もかなりのものです。
