These are the most amazing paints I've ever used! I tried one of the sample packs and loved them so much that I had to order these new earth tones in the large jars! I'll be ordering large jars from now on. I use these to paint my polymer clay creations, mostly pendants and pins.I took a few out to show some ladies (this is a new design for me, painting original art on the pendants, not just stamped designs). What surprised me was that the people I asked for their opinion went on and on about the beauty of the colors, the iridescent quality of the paints. Well, naturally I wanted a little more input on the design and artwork (because this was a little about me, not just the paints...) and they were impressed with that as well. But what they noticed first and commented on most was the beauty of the paint itself. So naturally I was sold, because that had impressed me as well.Whatever you paint with these paints will be beautiful! I personally can't wait to build up a complete color selection to use on not just jewelry, but also larger artwork pieces. You can't go wrong with this kind of glowing, warm, deep color.I try to write the most accurate, honest reviews that I can. Much of my shopping is done on Amazon, so I research and study the reviews before purchasing anything. I look for sellers with good reputations and products that have proved to be worth the money. This is an honest, unbiased review and am happy to be able to give you my opinion, good or bad. I do hope that it helps you make your own decision. If I find later that this product has not lived up to its claims or is somehow defective, I will edit this review and tell you the truth.

I paint dresses - - elaborate, unique, each tailored to a special event or person. Jacquard Lumiere fabric paint is the most gorgeous medium, and I rely on it for beauty and its utility.I've used it for years, and it really is washable (wait 72 hours, turn the garment inside-out and iron it first) without losing a bit of its shimmer and glow.Wish I had bottles in every color they made, because I've yet to find a color that isn't spectacularly gorgeous.

These are absolutely gorgeous metallic paints, and I have used them for many years. The only drawback I can think of is that they are quite thin (watery). If I am painting something in metallic gold.. I usually use a cheap gold acrylic paint for the first few coats. And then layer one coat of this on top for a beautiful sheen! If you are painting something like soft leather, then 2 coats of these alone will totally do the trick. I've had beautiful results when used on leather shoes

In all fairness, I haven't used the paint yet, and probably won't for a few months. I've been looking for the perfect pearlescent blue for almost a year for a special project. This is it. I'll update the review when I do finally use the paint (probably after the holidays at this point), but for now, I can't say enough about the shade.(I personally don't like this type of review, when someone hasn't used the product yet, and can't comment on performance, but hey, the color is truly beautiful).

I'll be honest, I only needed this to paint the exposed shirt cuffs on my Plasma Glow Joker figure because it matches the color of the front of the shirt PERFECTLY. After working with it, I LOVE IT! I'm cooking up a few more ideas to use this paint with because it lays on nicely, nice uniform color, it's perfect! Now I will mention that you might wanna use a clear coat on top of this stuff being that it's acrylic and not oil.

BEST PAINTS EVER! I need more. I will have more! I painted a pair of faux leather white shoes with the RED in this brand (The red wasn't in this order) and they literally look like they were red shoes to begin with. It covers so nicely and the colors are super vibrant. I use these in cosplay to paint armor and sometimes clothing. You would be amazed by how good this looks on clothing! The color sat really well on the cotton fabric I used. It did not flake, crack, chip! It did not bleed through the fabric. AND I only needed one coat to get a solid look. I absolutely LOVE these metallic colors, perfect for the metal look! I NEED ALLLLLL OF THEM! This is the best brand of paint I've used.

As with all interference paints, this is best used sparingly over a black or very dark background. It is not to be used like ordinary paint: you will waste it to little purpose and disappointing effect. Apply in thin layers with a very soft, almost dry brush. It is often preferable to thin it, either with water or with a high quality acrylic medium. You can also achieve some interesting effects by misting it after brushing it on, with a very fine spray of water from a mist bottle.This is a wonderful, almost magical paint if you use it correctly. I feel confident in recommending it. Those who express disappointment in it, most likely tried to use it like a regular acrylic paint.

The color is pretty but you need to use a few coats because it's a little thin/transparent. I like the shimmer but because it's so thin and not very pimgented, I feel like it gets a little streaking looking when applied. It didn't really work well for what I needed it for which was embellishing a handbag, but I'm hoping I can find some other use for it in the future.
