Wow, lots of orange flavor in a bread, Stollen I baked. I was looking for candied orange for several bread that I was going to bake such as a Stollen. And I decided to try this one just because it's from Florida as we traveled there and found BEST orange juice. I never liked orange, but their orange changed my mine. Result of Stollen was WOW ... lots of flavor of orange that I can taste. When I received it, I smelled it and ate one, but I felt not much flavor. However, flavor of orange in a Stollen is GREAT. I can taste strong orange flavor. Wow, the word I can think of.

Soft and delicious. Perfect. I recently had one of the best sweet treats ever. It was a deglet noir date which was cut open and stuffed with candied orange peel. The price is $$$ for just a few of these beauties. I bought this candied orange peel to stuff my own. They are perfect and far more economical.

I was a bit hesitant about trying these because I love the ones that I make. However, I don’t do that very often, anymore, so I’m looking for an alternative. When opened, these didn’t smell like much, but they do have a nice orange flavor.

So much easier than making my own. I have a great shortbread recipe that my husband really loves that calls for diced candied orange peel. This orange peel makes it a lot easier. I’m a do it yourself scratch baker but I know a good trade off when I see it.

I got exactly what I ordered! Since so many local grocery stores don't even Carry the candied fruit around Christmas, this is a great option.
