Gold Lurex Yarn - 860yd, 3.52oz Shining Glitter Sparkle Metal Yarn for DIY Fancy Crochet & Knitting Sweater, Scarf & Accessories

This yarn is the only true Gold shiny yarn that I’ve been able to find and work with. It’s so sparky and makes my crochet pieces really sparkle. I have had no issues with it splitting and no problems with tangling. This will be my 3rd time using this yarn. Absolutely must have!

I crochet and this product was easy to work with and showed very nicely.

Upon looking at the thread at its arrival, I thought it looked small. However I didn't expect to need to much for my project. Be aware that this stuff unravels very easily! Causing tangles and tomfoolery. It was a bit unruly to work with, but utilizing a steady hand is manuverable. I feel it served it's purpose well and I still have tuns to work with in future projects. This string is a trickster and seems to grow as you use it. Much like when eating a bowl of fettuccine. It looks at first that there isn't enough in your bowl, but as you consume it, the amount never seems to decrease. Left overs for days 😀.

I bought to make pompoms. It's very thin and the glitter gets everywhere. It's weird because it's kinda greasy probably because of however they make it gold? I had to wear gloves as the glitter was like shardes and it left a residue on my hands. It is gold and was pretty

I am crocheting Christmas baubles and it livened them up. Not for articles worn next to the skin.

My wife live this yarn and says it’s easy to crochet with and is very neat; whatever that means. She highly recommends it

This yarn is on the lighter weight and stretchy, but as for color its great for projects that you want an actual metallic gold color. It's not soft but easy to work with. Using a 3.5mm crochet hook but could probably use a smaller hook.I do love the way it sparkles+
