No. It is meant to go onto both painted and unpainted surfaces. Even the concentrate is PH neutral so zero risk to the paint/powder coat or any protective coatings you have on it like wax or ceramic.

Q: Is this product safe for Grass/Lawn? Just worried if run-off will kill my sod.

I wash my boat on the concrete and never have a problem with it. It works well! Actually never thought about the grass.
