CapezioLittle Girls' Ultra Soft Self Knit Waistband Footed Tight

My 8 year old daughter needed these for her recital. They were really durable and held up for 3 nights of the recital!

These are footed tights. Just in case you don’t want footed, we need both and got these as back up!

I absolutely love this Capezio line of dance tights. (My older daughters use this line of transition footed tights too). I have 3 daughters, all of whom take dance classes. Over the years, I've tried different brands and other Capezio lines, but these Capezios are winners. The self knit waistband is really comfortable and doesn't pinch. They are also really stretchy and the fabric is ultra soft. I find they wash well and last a fairly long time (make sure you line dry them). Occasionally, a hole or "catch" will appear, but that can happen with any brand, particularly if they rub up against anything rough or sharp. I no longer try different brands; these are my go-to tights and I think they're worth the money.

These are the only tights I’ve found that fit my daughter— the others I’ve bought have been too thick through the ankles and would not conform to her legs without bagginess which looks weird with ballet shoes, and we end up having to tuck the excess fabric which is also not comfortable. These come in a little bag without the cardboard stuffers so they are able to form fit around tiny feet and ankles without the excess fabric. My only complaint is the durability. She’s worn them twice and they already have piling, but I’ll still be buying more simply for the fit.

I can only review after one wearing, but they seem great so far. My daughter is almost 3, about 32 lbs, I'm not sure how tall. They fit her well. The waistband doesn't seem to cut in on her, and the length is about what I expected (a bit long, but that means there is room to grow). They are very soft, and they have a good weight to them. It seems like it would take a lot to rip, but we shall see. If I have any issues with them, I will edit my review. For color, they match Capezio and Bloch leotards in "ballet pink" perfectly. I always order my daughter's dance tights through Amazon since we do not have a dance store close by. My daughter is a competitive dancer, and these tights were exactly the brand and type she needed. Shipping was quick. And they were perfect.

The tights themselves are perfect. Advertised as pack of 3 but only one pair arrived... twice

When I opened my package and found only one pair of tights had been sent, I wasn't overly upset, though I was disappointed that it was misadvertised. However, when I unfolded them from the cardboard, I saw that they were absolutely tiny. By tiny, I don't just mean a size or two smaller than I would like; I mean that these shouldn't have been advertised as "women's" in the title, but rather for two to six year olds (like in the About section of the item that I unfortunately neglected to read before purchasing). I've reported the misinformation in the title, so hopefully nobody else makes the same mistake as me.
