Nice Starry Light Projector
I bought this for my youngest son as he is growing tired of his older light projector. The assembling is quite easy and intuitive. There is no need for an instructional manual. The instruction is in both Chinese and English - the font is small. But trust me, there is only one way to put it together - you cannot put it together wrong even if you want to. Other than the base and the remote control, there are three plastic pieces that need to be assembled together. The middle and the bottom have flaps and slots that fit into each other nicely. The top hexagon piece locks onto the middle piece easily too. The flaps have lock-in corners - as soon as you push them into the slots, it is not easy for them to come out. The whole structure is pretty steady after the assemble. One thing I want to point out is that the plastic pieces have two sides. One shiny side and one opaque side. The opaque side has a protective layer on it and should be removed before the assembling. The whole plastic assembly goes onto the base. It would be easier if you pull the seat out of the base to attach to the plastic assembly. It is fairly easy to push the seat back to the base.It is true the voice and the print on the remote control are both Chinese. It would be better to replace the starting voice with a chime sound and replace the Chinese characters printed on the remote with simple figures. The sound basically tells you it is turned on and connect to bluetooth. Connection to bluetooth is actually quite easy. The sound from the base is decent. Good to play soothing music while staring at the light projection. There are five rows of buttons. Top two rows control the light, the third row sets operating time, the bottom two rows controls sound if the projector is connected to your phone of other sound devices through bluetooth. The red "on" button is on the top left corner followed by a red "off" button in the top middle, followed by the rotation button on the top right. It would be more intuitive if the on button is in green. There are three colors to choose from, which is actually the same as my son's older light projector. The brightness can be controlled. When you turn the brightness to max, it is actually pretty bright for a dark room. You obviously cannot see much if you have the light on in the room or during the daytime. There is also a function to overlap three colors - there is an offset of the projection of each color which makes one looking at it dizzy - I suppose it is on purpose - to assist one to get to sleep faster. All for all, I think this is a good product!

Trash
You are paying almost 50 dollars for a paper lampshade projector piece that you may or may not get. Funny thing. Didn't even get the paper lampshade. It has a poor quality plastic base that feels like it will crumble in your hand. 1/10 stars would not recommend. Brightside got it quickly.

My daughter can't sleep without it.
My daughter can't sleep without this. It feels a little flimsy when you first build it, but it is a nice "night light"

Do Not Buy This
3 of these were purchased for individuals as their primary Christmas gifts. Due to the assembly required I set them up ahead of time and here are the issues with each one:1. The product requires the remote to do anything more than turn on. All 3 remotes do not work. As instructed I was careful to be sure and point the remotes at the infrared port. Thinking it may be the batteries in each, I replaced the batteries with brand new ones, but still nothing. The product is fully charged and turns on, however, the remotes for each do not work.2. The projection requires close proximity for each surface. When placed in a closet, you get a nice crisp projection. The stars and constellations, although fantasy is still quite enjoyable. Once you move it into a bigger space it is just blurry anywhere isn't right next to a surface. I believe if you could suspend these next to the ceiling in the middle of the room you might have a nice overall projection. The display was tried in a closet, a 10' x 10' room, and a 12' x 15', all with the same results.Bottom line, it's Christmas Eve and I'm 3 presents short. These aren't cheap but they are definitely cheap! Please do not make my mistake.

The Stars at Night
I bought this for my son for Christmas. He is always looking into the night time sky and amazed with the stars, moon, and planets that he can see with his eyes. So, to bring the stars inside our home is amazing to him. The little disappointment though is that the star show is not like the advertisement when you go to purchase the product. It shows you the galaxy with shooting stars and gases that are out in space. I have searched and cannot find the lamp shade that is shown in advertisement. But, I hope that there some lamp covers somewhere to purchase like the advertisement. Overall though, he is please that he can stare up to his ceiling and dream about being up in the stars.

Not
This is not worth the price..the constellations don’t look real there’s no big or Little Dipper all I see are houses and what looks like stick figure people in different sexual positions not good for a child to see..I wish I would have returned it now!!

It’s great, everything works now
The media could not be loaded. Update: figured out the power button on the device needs to be pressed more than once and the remote works. Upgraded to 5 star because my son loves it and the product works as described now. TyNot as hard to assemble as I thought, easy peasy just dont forgot the protective film. I ran into a problem with the remote, battery is good, device has power and charging. Device does turn on and the light does as well, but the remote control won’t connect or control anything, no time, no spin, no volume. Dead remote or IR transceiver or receiver.Only reason I gave a “1 star” is the remote, contacted Customer service, will return and replace if necessary, and once I get something that works I will change my review to 5 stars. Cheap, Doesn't Charge
This is incredibly cheap feeling plastic. You have to put it together by inserting tabs into slots and it's very hard to assemble. I expected it to come in one piece. It doesn't. It's been currently charging for 6 hours and isn't charged at all. It won't turn on with the remote OR the on/off button on the base. Do not recommend.
