I absolutely love this little Fawn statue. It looks so realistic, very detailed & a perfect size. He looks so cute in my garden.

Darby is not sad, but happy
For some reason, the photo looks like Darby lost his Mother, but in person, he is a happy contented deer. I have to admit the sad photo made me stop and want to get him, but just because he is not sad as in the photo doesn't mean he isn't any less cute which some have failed to appreciate. The deer was handpainted. So how can someone say he isn't as described. A person hand painting something is going to result in a little variety. It is an original Design Toscano Darby. It is more personalized. I have many of his work and they are all Beautiful, My deer is sitting around with a few others I have had around my Bird fountain indoors that I restored, painted and decked with flowers and lights. His eyes are more open and alert, but cute just the same. I'm glad I got my deer.

Incredibly lifelike.
So realistic looking I keep expecting the little deer to stand up and walk off. Definitely my favorite garden statue.
