Very easy to work with cut perfectly and very smooth, I have read some other reviews in which the writers were not happy because it was to thin. However, the material is meant to stop anything, such as a rock or root, from coming up from the bottom under the pool's liner and punching a hole in the pool's fool, for this the type of material and size is perfect. It is not meant to be a cushion and it does appear thin; because, it is thin; however, it is not the thickness but rather, the material which is relevant in stopping the pool fool from being punched. If you want a thick cushion or if you believe that only a thick pad will work, than honestly this is not for you. However, if you do understand that it is the type and quality of the material that stops and future damage form occurring then but thus one.

I'm pretty convinced by now that people just want something to complain about based on reviews of everything I buy. This product won't feel like your walking on memory foam but it certainly does work. Its kind of like a double layered piece of felt. It's cut perfectly for my 18round intex pool. It's much better than the tarp the pool came with. Id recommend this product for some extra support and comfort. I can't give it 5 stars because I don't know about the durability yet.

M'kay. Last year I ordered a Liner Life pad. It was fairly thick and though it looked moldy and gross by the end of the summer, we knew it was just a one-season purchase. It's no longer available, so I ordered this Rhino Pad.A thinner, black pad arrived instead of the white one pictured. It's ok, but not as good as the white Liner Life pad. As stated - it's thinner. And we already notice a difference in water temperature. Last year the pool never got over 86 F even if it was 105 out. After just one week this year the water is already over 90 and has stayed there. Tepid bathwater is not exactly what we were shooting for.3 stars for not delivering the white pad ordered, and for it being thinner than the other brand of pad. I don't like feeling like a bait & switch was performed.

I cannot speak to the durability since this will be our first use but is clearly NOT 18 as advertised'. I do not have the time to return since our liner is being installed today. Our pool was professionally installed so I know its dimensions. This cloth is not the color pictured (ours is black and very thin) and it is made from 2 pieces of material that were sewn together. You can see from the photos that there is no way this will stretch across to tuck under the coves as shown in the video. Very disappointed.

I think I may have received a fraudulent product. First of all the product is an extremely thin black felt like material. I expected a felt like material, but I expected it to be slightly thicker and white. It has three seams and they are not evenly placed- this clearly was constructed from scrap fabric. Also it is not cut to size, it is considerably larger than my pool and will need to be trimmed on every side. I will be using it because we are at the stage of the liner installation where there's no turning back, but this was the biggest waste of money I've ever spent on Amazon.

I used 4x4 post and top soil to make a level pool pad in my horribly un-level yard so I wanted a pad of some kind to protect against rocks. I used a medium built tarp on the bottom with this between the tarp and the pool floor. I found a couple sharp rocks as soon as we started filling the pool so I slid underneath and pulled them out. Possibly would have been ok with the Rhino pad but they were easily retrievable so I didn't want to leave them. The pad does add a small amount of padding to the floor but you'll still feel rocks and bumps through it if you leave them.

We put this under our 11,000 gallon above ground pool. We dug down 3 inches and had masonry sand poured and leveled. We then put down the rhino pad. We read other reviews stating how thin it is so we were not disappointed by the thickness of the product. The pool bottom is very soft and comfortable. I would definitely recommend.

When this product came to me I was in shock. It was literally a thin piece of black felt. And don't even try to install if there is any kind of breeze. That's how flimsy this product is. Way too expensive for what you get.
