Bough this to replace the one I smashed. Great value for money, simple to use and good size for a family of 6.

This is a well made, good value for money item. It works fine. But, if you like cooking, you do have to learn to cook differently: you need to use a lot less liquid than you are used to, and you have to accept that the dishes don't have the same rich flavour as if you'd cooked them in the oven. But, it is very nice just putting the lid on and leaving it without having to think about it (you have to put some sort of timer on, like your phone, as this model doesn't have one). I will use it regularly but probably only because it's a cheap way of cooking. PS If you are buying it for one person's use, you will end up with a lot of food, so get freezer bags ready.

After years of being told how brilliant a slow cooker is ,by my daughter ( who has had one for years ) I decided to purchase one, and I'mglad I did.Not only is it economicall to use in preference to my conventional oven ( Electric ) so much cheaper to use. This slow cooker is so easy to use it comes with full instructions plus handy recepies. I put all my ingredient in ( Meat all vegetables gravy and meat stock in ) turned the slow cooker on medium for 6 hours , gave it a stir halfway through .Just make sure that you have cut your potatoes quite small. It is very easy to use, the only small downside for me was you cannot reheat left over food as it takes to long to reheat , so any left over stew has to be reheated in a saucepan. The slow cooker was really easy to clean afterwards, a wipe over was all it required. I purchased the large capacity one as I prepare enough food for several meals and then freeze the rest.The slow cooker is smart enough to leave on show in your kitchen ,if it doesn't fit into your cupboard as it is quite a large item..Glad that I let myself be talked into purchasing this item.

My previous Morphy Richards 6.5l Slow Cooker was brilliant until I accidentally melted the cable on my Hob.I have used the new version, just as good no complaints.

Big enough for several people eating. The bowl looks like sturdy and of big capacity. The manual settings are very simple and easy to set. Not the digital complicated instructions. Very happy with my purchase.

I don’t use this as often as I should. It works fine, heats up and cooks as a slow cooker should. Holds enough for a family of 3-4, and looks good on the counter. Heavy ceramic pot inside is easy to clean and the exterior wipes clean.
