KwiksetPismo Dummy Door Knob, Single Sided Handle for Closets, French Double Doors, and Pantry, Matte Black Non-Turning Interior Push/Pull Door Knob, with Microban Protection

My wife and I were looking to change out our builder grade door hardware and found these by Kwikset. I've had Kwikset locks before but not standard door knobs and didn't know what to expect. These really have exceeded all of my expectations and fit in great with the look of our paneled door.I found them very easy to install and was able to switch out each old knob in under 15 minutes. The knob comes with all of the hardware needed to replace the old hardware including matte black strike plate, face plate, and screws. The knobs have a beautiful and durable matte black finish that I think contrast well with white doors. They even endured a scratch I thought I left from accidentally running the tip of my screwdriver on the knob's side and wiped off well. These are also reversable and can be used on either left or right side door knobs (this is done by being able to remove the actual knob with a hex allen L wrench to flip it). Compared to my old knobs, the Pismo set is sturdier, a tad harder to turn to open the door, and is smooth when turning. They also do not move around when pulling on them.The last thing I want to mention that I love about them is the additional key it comes with to unlock just in case you need to bypass the lock. Using the small hole in the front, the small L shaped, flat head type key twists the locking mechanism from the inside and allows you to unlock the door. I also found that the key is also small enough to hide above my top door trim piece.Overall, I love the color and how sturdy this knob is compared to other door knobs I've had in the past. It works well and based on my experience after using it daily for several months, I hope and don't expect to have any issues!Note: The interior "Privacy" knobs are the ones that have the lock on them as compared to the "Passage" or "Dummy" (not lockable) knobs.

These knobs are nice and easy to install but they happened to be too big for the areas I needed knobs in. Even with good measurements listed and measuring at home it just wouldn’t work because I have a a lot of doors that open into the area where the knobs would’ve been. It reduces the swing radius so really consider that if you’re in the same situation.I wish I had a spot for these because they are a nice quality. I had to return because they’re huge for my purpose but I’d still recommend these if you have no obstructions or reduced door swing.

Great quality, locks and unlocks with ease. Looks beautiful , I bought two different brands at the same time, look similar, this one is amazing quality at half the price. (The other is overpriced junk.) Stick to this privacy doorknob , you’ll get both amazing quality and good pricing ! Very pleasantly surprised.

Really love the look and quality of this set—so much so that I’m seriously considering repainting the entire door. The only minor downside: the old knob’s escutcheon was slightly larger than the one on the Pismo, leaving about a 1mm gap on either side. I’ll need to carefully fill that in with wood filler, but it’s a small price to pay for such a great upgrade.

Our home has the Kwikset Pismo door knobs installed on all of our interior doors. We needed to convert some of the pass through door knobs to locking door knobs because our son is getting mobile. They weren’t available anywhere so I was happy to find them on here. They fit the current holes in the door perfectly. Very easy to switch them over. The lock functions easily along with the knob itself. Color matched our current ones perfectly.

Works good enough. A bit difficult in the beginning to get it working

We used these on our double closet doors for our laundry area. They match all of our other door knobs perfectly. The matte black looks sleek and doesn’t chip or scratch. They were quick and easy to install and feel heavy duty.

This is a very solid purchase because the installation process was a breeze. A straightforward set up that didn't take much time or effort. The design is sleek and the matte black finish adds a touch of elegance to any door. A fantastic choice for anyone looking to upgrade their interior handles!
