Nice comfortable handle, blade is hardened and teeth are ideal as a bow or normal hand saw with very quick cutting.

I've found myself watching a load of wood working videos on the you tube lately and a few of the guys have been using a Japanese saw for flush cuts and making boxes. It piqued my interest and went shopping around. I didn’t wasn’t to invest in the ones I saw in the videos as they were endowed in comparison to this one and, I just wanted to try it out for basic jobs. When it arrived, I was initially surprised by its petite size but quickly learnt that size isn’t everything. It folds in on itself and has a little locking mechanism to keep it together. The wood feels decent quality and has a good finish on it. It fits comfortably in the hand so already off to a good start. Being a complete novice to most DIY duties, I have never got on with traditional saws. I always put it down to being cack-handed and always shown to do it the ‘correct way’ – right-handed for those who are unsure. This thing is BRILLIANT. For the first time ever, I was able to cut lengths of wood in a straight line and with clean cuts. I think this is down to the fact there are two different teeth grades that accommodate different woods and grains. Either way, I felt confident that it is possible to work on a project and have it look good. I certainly endorse this saw and will probably look out for these rather than the conventional saws in the future.

My husband purchased the AIRAJ 450mm Pro Hand Saw, and he can’t believe how excellent this saw is. Over the years, he has used various garden hand saws; however, this is without a doubt the best he has used. He purchased it to cut down two trees over 35 feet high, with branches ranging from 2 inches to about 15 inches thick, and it made easy work of cutting through the trees (like a hot knife through butter). He never writes reviews, but due to how impressed he is with the saw, he wrote this and asked me to post it

As soon as my AIRAJ 450mm Pro Hand Saw arrived I went into the garden to cut some thick branches off a tree. The branches are 110 cms (4 inches) thick. I timed myself to see how long it would take to saw through, and to my surprise, it was just a few seconds!I like this saw very much because the blade is covered in Teflon making it rust and corrosion-proof, and because it can saw with ease through thick wood. It is good value for money too!

Typed in craft saw and this popped up. I bought it for sawing thin wood on a doll house. It's rubbish, you can only saw one way, otherwise it gets stuck. Think this is made for thick wood like tree trunks.
