Island of Shipwrecks (5) (The Unwanteds)

WOW!!!
The book The Unwanteds Island of Shipwrecks by Lisa McMann is a book that will leave you at the edge every time you read a page! This Book is realistic fiction with a little mystery all mixed up into one book. The book is magical and Lisa McMann was brilliant when she wrote this book because she knew just how to make it suspenseful all the time. You just want to keep reading it. The book can be funny at times also. As you are reading this book you feel like you are a part of the book or you feel like you are in it. I would strongly recommend for anybody to read this book. I wish the series went on forever! Lisa McMann creates a setting that can be very well imagined. The setting is a world called Airtime. When you read this book you can easily imagine being in the story at the setting in the book. Airtime is a place where you would probably want to spend your whole life there. I imagine Airtime as being in a wonderful place that’s very pretty. Airtime is magical and one of them places where you would have a lot of fun. This is a must read book!

Adventurous!
This book was bittersweet. It was probably my favorite so far in the series but had some heartbreaking events. I loved all the new islands and characters, especially the three scientists. I loved that Henry took such a huge interest in the gardening and that he had gained their trust so much. I don't like going into too much detail and give spoilers so I'll stop here. But I loved this one very much, even though it was very sad at times. I continue to say this series is an emotional rollercoaster but remains a very enjoyable ride!

Argh, so good!
So many feels! The people of Artimé face greater challenges than ever, and watching them grow is so rewarding. While these books aren't as descriptive and detailed as the high fantasy I usually enjoy, I have to give this one 5 stars because it really drew me in and has cemented my loyalty to the series. #4 began to plant seeds of something bigger, and this one starts to water those seeds. I want to know more about the world! And I can't help but try to puzzle everything out on my own even as I'm following along with the adventures and mishaps of the beloved characters.I also enjoyed this book more because FINALLY, Aaron is becoming a sympathetic character to me. His growth is the slowest thing imaginable and the only thing worse than reading his POVs would be to actually be him. But finally his walls are starting to come down, in more ways than one, and there's hope for him yet. I didn't want to strangle him this time! Now I need to get the next one. Immediately.

Great except for one thing
SPOILERSLook I really like this book, and this series in general. But the one thing that's annoying me is the ending. Like I understand that because alex and aaron are identical they get mixed up, but the ending pushes it. Throughout the last two books there are multiple times when it says that alex grows out his hair to differentiate himself from aaron, but then the ending completely s***s on that, and has aaron confused for alex twice. I get that it is important for the series; but then at least give a reason for the confusion, like maybe Aaron grew it out so he can impersonate Alex. Overall I liked it, but I just had to rant about this because it's been on my mind for a while.

Awesome series, my 11 year old son and my ...
Awesome series, my 11 year old son and my 70 year old Mom are both hooked also. We are anxiously waiting the next one....So, PLEASE hurry! :))) For those who haven't read it, the sell line is that it is a cross between Hunger Games and Harry Potter. While it has elements of both, it is neither. This series can stand on its own, I think it's way better than Hunger Games. Harry Potter - that's a category by itself.

Great book
I remember picking up the first book and just sitting down and reading. Then I'd look up and realize I've been there for a couple of hours that was 2 years ago. I forgot about this series then I was on my kindle and saw that the series continued, I was incredibly excited. All of the books were amazing but after reading this one. All the characters are much more in depth and you really care about them. But towards the end of this book the storyline changes in an interesting way. It's great! I recommend this book to, well, anyone who has imagination.

AMAZING
this book is a very good book for kids in the 5 6 7 and 8 grades. I gave it a five star rating because of the storyboard and how well written this book is.If you would like to read this book I would read the other books before this one to understand some of the things in this book. I am in the 6th grade reading this book yet I am 5 years above my reading level. So if you are looking for an age to read this story I would say 13.🔰(look for this stumble for other books if you liked my review!!)

Love this series
Love this series! My oldest actually liked it so much he wrote the author and received actually received a reply back. This is book 5 in the series and we are always disappointed when we finish and have to wait for the next one to be published. I found the book to be similar to the Harry Potter series, in that it is about a young boy who learns he can perform magic while struggling to be a typical boy and dealing with making mistakes. Definitely a series that young children can relate to. Highly recommend.
