Q: What is the length, height, and width of box? I’d like to make sure it fits in my drawer. Thanks!

13" in length, 2 3/8" in depth and 2 3/8" in height without the plastic cutter and 2 5/8th with the plastic cutter.

Q: *Must* the slide cutter be used to cut a length of wrap, or is it optional? Want to be able to hold box in one hand "in the air" to cuts as normal.

The new box I have does not have a serrated cutter and the blade cuts only from left to right. It's safer but slightly more awkward. You can still hold it in one hand and anchor the wrap, then slide the blade with your free hand. Once you get used to it, it's about as efficient as the old serrated cutter was and certainly much safer for your knuckles. If I have to choose between buying this wrap with the blade cutter or buying another wrap with an "easier" cutter, I'll take this wrap every time.

BPH FREE is printed beside 250 Sq. Ft. on the box. We've used this for many years. It's the very best cling wrap we've EVER used.
