EVOC, Hip Pack Capture 7L, Bag, 7L, Heather Carbon Grey

I love this bag if it's nice it's not too heavy put my camera in it and a few other items and I take it out when I go for a Day hike to go bird watching.

This is the only hip pack I’d trust to stow my bare camera in while riding. I was pleased with how the padding is situated in the pack. There are two tensioning straps near the top of the pack that allow you loosen the pack in order to slide it around your waist to grab your camera and/or gear without having to adjust the main strap buckle. It takes a little muscle memory to locate them by feel. Two quick stow pockets are great for keys, gels, or GoPro batteries. It’s slightly larger than any hip pack I’ve ever worn but not intrusively so. I find myself grabbing this pack instead of any of the others I have to include backpack style hydration packs.

perfect fit and shape for my Fuji X pro but the belt slips while wearing it, great bag otherwise Im sure I can add a second buckle or something to keep the belt from sliding though the buckle system as I ride with it.

The size is very small, and the top cover is of very poor quality and unpadded. It also has the logo on a rubber band that is pink on the screens of Sony cameras. I do not recommend it.

I like this product is so hard to find a fanny camera bag . I wish it was less rigid and had a deeper front zipper pocket

The quality is OK, but it's very bulky. It will basically only hold my Sony a7 mirrorless and one lens. Forget a big lens like a 70-200. I'm talking just like a 16-35 or a small zoom. The bag is big on the outside but small on the inside.Meanwhile, I hate how the top opens (or doesn't). The flap opens out so everyone can see what's in the bag except you, and it won't stay up. Also, the zippers are junk and bind/get stuck every time.I have been using the Amazon Basics (https://amzn.to/3XTUyjs) camera bag which costs 1/4 of this. The zippers are smooth, and it opens with the top out. It can hold my a7 and two small lenses which is vastly more useful.

The product has a ventilation space on the back side of the pack. This spacing removes the entire back of the pack for supporting the its weight. As you walk, it constantly slips down your back side. The manufacturers can contact me if I'm doing something wrong. As it is, it can only be used as a hand carried piece.

I really do want to love this bag, but it's a bit too big/bulky and it was really difficult to tighten on my waist and feel comfortable for an all day hike or exploring. The straps become loose pretty easily/quickly. The only way I want to wear the bag is in the front (which feels very awkward because of it's size) so that I can easily grab my camera when I'm out shooting, but it's definitely made to wear with the weight in the back for bicyclists (not so much for hiking or backpacking). I had very high hopes for this bag because it's SO difficult to find a lightweight, comfortable camera bag that has hands-free, convenient access. I put my Nikon D750 with a 12-24 lens and it barely fits and it was a bit of a struggle to pull in and out while I was shooting. I love the look and features of this bag and I think it works perfectly for lightweight, mirrorless camera storage and for bicyclists. I hope this review helps!
