The battery it’s self is very easy to replace into a 2015 MacBook Pro, but getting the old one out it’s not for the faint of heart. You could look at a few YouTube videos, but either way using the solvent and slowly removing the old batteries takes lots of patience. Once you get the old battery out. A new battery is very easy to install and charge is fully. All at all well worth the investment.

The battery arrived and was the proper battery for my MacBook Pro just as the product is described. I put 4 stars for easy to install - not because of the product but because of the lack of instructions in the package. The seller could at the very lease mention an installation video online. I was able to find many videos and replace the battery very easily. This battery was a direct replacement and easy to install ... but watch the videos first and be prepared.I installed the day I received it (3/3/2021) - so I will let you know if it quits charging, swells or severely reduced working time.

Battery not exactly what's advertised (hence the 4 stars). Max capacity is slightly less (8545 mAh or 2.4% less). However the biggest disappointment is the manufacturer's date... 3/30/15. That's even older than the Mac I just installed it into. Well... it's charging ok and I will only expect 2 years since the last battery (both made by Simplo) only lasted 2 years. Shipping was fast. Tools were minimal and insufficient, but I had my own anyway. DIYers can handle this easily. Lots of videos online.

Appears to be a good-quality battery well made and holds charge from the moment it was installed. Even though the battery is glued in, it is not to difficult to remove. Be patient and use polish remover and syringe.

Ordered in February 2021, to replace the original battery with 880 cycles, showing 52% capacity, at 4546mAh.Install was easy, all the tools were there.It should have been obvious that this battery wasn't like the original, but I didn't pay close attention it.Fast forward a year later: after using the laptop for an hour the battery is showing a low charge. Even MacOS is showing that the battery needs to be serviced.Yes folks, what took the original battery 753 load cycles to get to 74%, this battery did in record time at 61 load cycles. I would say this is truly amazing.Try to contact the seller over email for support? The webpage says "You will get the best service, the most trusted products. If you have any questions, you can contact us by email"Well...Good luck finding their email address through amazon.....Maybe it's in the tiny slip of paper that came with the battery.... but that was thrown out long ago before I even knew there was a problem...

I was a bit worried with this being one of the cheapest options available and with few reviews, but I replaced my ridiculously bulged mid 2015 macbook pro's battery last night with these and it's been working perfectly so far. I ran it on the new battery (which came charged to 79% out of the gate) for a little while then put it back in it's place and tossed it on the charger. It's now sitting at 100%. I'll update if I run into any charge issues.

Purchased this battery in Sept/2023. Installed in Feb/2024. Now in Nov/2024 the battery is swelling in my macbook pro, I find no way to contact the company and there is no warrenty. The original battery lasted over 8 years of heavy usage, this one -- barely used and less than 9 months. Not worth the $51

Everything was fine, but approximately 15 months after installation it just crapped out and died on me. I replaced it with a cheaper version off eBay. At least now I'm not expecting much and will set about just preparing to buy a whole new computer by the time it gives out on me.
