The beads are glass and nicely strung on a sturdy stainless steel cable.They look like, they will hold up over the years and be washable.Each string comes with a small hoop on the end, to help with handing.I like that the strands are separate, as this enables hanging them together or being able to intersperse lights or other decorations, from time to time.Very well made and quite beautiful,

These are lovely... The quality is excellent. That being said I definitely didn't read the description because there are only 10 individual strands. It's a little pricey for me especially since I was expecting a curtain. I unfortunately had to return these, but the whole process was very easy.

I wish each strand were longer, i am adding some inches to the top so that they will hang from ceiling to closer to the floor........i suppose if you are using them in a doorway, they are long enough, but i am hanging them from the ceiling. I would love real crystals, but could not afford that many crystals! So, for the price, a good value and look.

Love it but I thought it came as a roll. They are strands which worked better for what I needed.

Looks great, easily get tangle if place them close to each other.
