Thor: Ragnarok - DVD

A lot wittier than the other times Thor is on-screen. The "He's adopted" reply from the first Avengers movie shows that Thor is capable of understanding mortal humour, and the audiences' first glimpse into his development in this movie, a conversation Thor has with Surtur, helps cement this as one of the funniest Marvel movies yet. It's just a shame Marvel didn't do this with Hawkeye, as his comic counterpart is hilarious. And since it appears that the fourth Avengers movie will introduce Ronin, the quick-witted Clint Barton will never truly see the light of day.

Marvellous Marvel Studios and the MCU strike again with some fantastic entertainment and stand-out performances by Chris Hemsworth ; Tom Hiddleston ; Mark Ruffalo and Cate Blanchett. I loved it and though I would love Thor and Loki to continue with the brotherly banter, in-fights and working together as here, that is likely to change in Avengers : Infinity War, so if you love the tongue in cheek humour, as I do, make the most of it here. I know that some of the "purists" don't like the humour but it does give an extra dimension to Thor's character and you can tell that the cast have had a "blast" making the film.

I've had no problems with the DVD itself and this film is amazingI haven't actually watched the first Thor films but I am a Spider-man fan and heard great things about this movie from other marvel fans and they were not wrong.If you haven't watched it please do, especially if you are a marvel fan.

Probably the best marvel film of all time.Avengers endgame is the only film that beats it but that’s purely because of the amazing ness of the cross over. This is Taika Waititi at his absolute best. The mix of humour, call backs to other films, action, storyline, the colours and the cast. Genuinely perfect and have seen it several times now.

Great fun and while, like other MCU films, the storyline is 'thin', it's carried by the action - and there are moments which serve to grab attention e.g. where you're not sure what Loki's up to! I couldn't figure how/why The Hulk needs to appear in this film. I think it's one of those films where a 2nd viewing may enable the brain to catch up a bit. Some intriguing hooks left for a next instalment? ....but without a hammer.
