What material is lid sid made from?

Hi ybriggs! Lid sid is made from a hard silicone.

I bought these as a gift for my mother and got some for myself as well. I've used them a few times over the course of a year and think they work perfectly. I'm glad I go them rather than trying to balance lids when a recipe calls for partial coverage.

What are the actual dimensions of the items themselves, not those of the box, as some reviewer complained they are smaller than he/she thought?

Im happy with the size...The size is perfect for the work they have to do between the dimensions of the lip of the pot/saucepan , and not-bulky for store. The dim. are: 3x2,5x1 inches (7,5x6,5x2,5cm) aprox.
