Can this be used with charcoal? Thanks

I have never actually used charcoal on it but it is quite a heavy, textured paper and whilst I am pretty sure charcoal would work, if you want a smooth fine paper this is definately not that.. Its beautiful paper and a well made little book. I have used watercolours and inks successfully.
