Green RiverOLD-STYLE LONGNECKS FROM CHICAGO, 12 Fl Oz (Pack of 12)

Used to drink these from the soda fountain at the local pharmacy when I was younger (midwest late 70s/early 80s). Found these online and bought for a sibling's birthday. Just as tasty as I remembered.

I normally don't drink that much soda anymore. I had been introduced to this soda a month ago and liked the flavor. With some unused amazon gift cards, I decided to use them to get a 12 pack of this soda. Each soda was carefully wrapped and packed strategically to minimize the glass breaking.I enjoy that this soda uses real sugar and not as many artificial ingredients as most mainstream sodas do. I wasn't around when this soda was popular but I'm glad I got to experience it and will definitely have it when I can.

This product was a gift for a 59 yr old with the taste buds of a 12 yr old. He loved it.

I ordered a 12 pack but received a 4 pack with one of the bottles broken. I was given a refund for the full amount.

I have loved this drink for a long time, however this latest shipment was not packed well. One bottle was broken, one bottle was not full. This is no longer from Chicago as the name implies, It is now from Sprecher Brewing Co, Glendale, WI.As much as I love this drink I may not purchase again due to the lack of quality control.

Two of the four packs were moist and covered in black mold. Bottles leaked some out of two of the four packs. I spent $45 for 12 bottles of soda and it was disgusting. Very disappointing, I bought these for a nostalgic purpose for my dad and I when we would go fishing as a young kid and I can’t share with him.

Green River, still uses real sugar. The clean taste of lime from a glass bottle transports you to a simpler time when excellence was the mark of craftsmanship. Mission accomplished. I've only given 2 four star ratings on Amazon~ this is one of them.
