Better than other brands
I use sugaring compound for my own home hair removal. This brand is the one I would fully recommend, especially to inexperienced users. It is truly 'hard', getting it out of the container without warming it up is almost impossible. But once you have your ball, it will go a long time, it doesn't break down, it doesn't get too warm and melt away or start sticking. It is really good at getting the whole hair and root so your don't have as bad of bumps afterwards. Some pointers if you struggle with it at first, the first couple of patches may need to be done a second time before it gets warmed up, you can also let it sit on the skin or sort of work your hand over it a bit if it feels like it's slipping against your skin when you are applying it. I've found both of those things result in fewer stragglers during the pulls.

My new mortal enemy
I was really excited about this product! I've heard great things about sugar wax and I was looking for a new method of hair removal for *down there*. This sugaring paste wasn't it.I researched thoroughly the best way to go about using this wax, but it still ended up being a nightmare. It was painful (granted, this did not surprise me), messy and sticky, and ultimately ended up damaging my hair follicles. Despite the fact that I waxed in the recommended motion and followed all instructions, apparently this product caused me to rip the hairs off at the root instead of pulling out the entire follicle. This led to severe folliculitis (look it up if you're brave) for two weeks in my nether regions that has left fairly ugly scars. So that's cool.Additionally, and this is partially my fault, I thought this product would be safe to store in one of my drawers if I reattached the lid. It must have gotten knocked over at some point because half of the remaining tub of wax leaked and hardened in the bottom of my cosmetics drawer even though the lid was sealed. It was awful to clean up and involved a ton of time and stickiness to salvage my products that were coated in the stuff. I ended up throwing what little wax remained straight into the trash.I really wanted this product to be a game changer! And maybe you'll be able to use it with zero problems. But those with sensitive skin, beware. And don't store it anywhere you aren't willing to scoop hardened wax from later.TLDR; After a painful wax, this caused me to have folliculitis when the hair grew back. And it spilled all through one of my drawers, despite me reattaching the lid.

EASY PEASY (HARD SUGAR)
The people in the reviews complaining, are clearly the 1 percent that just don't get it. Because this couldn't be any easier and it indeed was my first time EVER doing it. It was lowkey addicting lol.Tips: Shower and exfoliate area with exfoliator glove, completely dry off and if needed apply some numbing cream to area + take Pain meds. After about 30 minutes dry area completely off again and apply setting powder instead of baby powder. YES setting lol... ALL these steps made for an easy application and clear pull of hair with limited pain. The best area to test out your sugaring skills, is on your arm or leg. That way you can get your technique down. Then move on to the bigger more sensitive areas once perfected.Pros:A ton of product for your buckWorked well and each glob lasted for many pullspretty simple and not as painful as traditional hard or hot waxCons:Hard, is a tad difficult to get out if you dont zap it for a couple of seconds.

Eh . . . Each glob, Few passes then toss! NOT PROFESSIONAL GRADE!!!!
I get sugar waxing every 2-3 wks (Brazilian & upper lip) legs are too much work, unlike waxing you have to spread it over each area with your thumb “ typically” or few fingers, it’s harder in the hands but I love it because I’m highly sensitive to all waxing products, including Ceripil, Satin Smooth, even the Professional “sensitive” waxed unfortunately! I break out in hives, completely itchy. Then it turns into a blister and then leeches. It’s painful and annoying to wait for it to heal! Fortunately, I have found a solution “sugar waxing”, I have zero reaction to.It does the job! With patience!I love how you can wash with plain old sink water (warm’ or cold)! Waxing, you need: a chemical solution/some solvent remover?! I dunno 🤷♀️ to have it removed! Pain in my ass!THIS PRODUCT: 2 ⭐️ ⭐️ This received a two star only because I have used sugar waxing at home. This only lasts a few passes as compared to my girl she uses. One (1/2 golf ball size - for my Brazilian, 1/2 backside) This product: I use and amount the size of a quarter after a few passes it gets completely sticky and it started looking greenish, like boogers 🤣 That’s how you know to replace. This is OK for your own home. Use the prep part is very important! Great for touchups in between appointments if you can’t get in right away! I have had zero allergic reaction to any sugar waxing so far all it is is: honey sugar, lemon, and or citric acid!I’m not a very hairy person, so I don’t mind doing my own legs because I get little patches here and there sometimes if I don’t finish in a one sitting, I may complete it the next day! It’s easy but it takes time.AT HOME PREP: Skin needs to be prepped, clean off - I use regular dial soap or Dr. Bronner’s soap, I use peppermint, gives me the tingly feeling of it’s completely cleaned. Dry completely.I’m in my bathroom (convenience of my sink ) so I can wash sticky hands. take the entire desired amount of sugarwax i use no more than a quarter size amount, need to spread well over area, it’s much more work than waxing (more coverage at once, with your waxing paper strip) but if you’re like me and still looking for a solution try a small spot first with the sugar wax to test area. I love the fact that water removes it!My wax lady looked at it and says it’s good for home use but not professional grade!

Accidentally lured ants lol
I got the hard version, which in hindsight, was not great as i was microwaving it in 5 second intervals forever because I wanted it to be softer. If i bought again I'd definitely get medium or even soft. Even then, as a beginner I figured out how to use it pretty quickly. Anyways, the value for money is amazing. When I bought this a year ago, it was only $33. Unfortunately the price has gone up a bit but still so much product. However, I had to throw it away and it wasn't even halfway gone because I live in an old house and ants found their way into my bathroom cabinet. the lid doesn't seal on the best so it makes sense lol. I don't think I'll buy this again unless I lived in a more bug proof house. I would recommend the manufacturers to add a screw on lid.
