Dutton Books for Young Readers Pooh's Library

Nothing really need be said. One of the greatest creations in the canon of children's literature. Witty, sentimental, appealing to the parents reading the book as much as the kids listening, AND this collection contains all of the stories and poetry of this incredible character and his friends. A million light-years away from Disney ( in the best ways!) Incidentally, some of the drawings are actually coloured by E H Shepard himself long after he did the original black and white line drawings. The later books not, as presumably he had died,or became too old or ill to work. Every child needs to experience the original Whinnie the Poo! : )

£34 for these? What a rip off. I got the library binding which is hardback. They look really nice until you open them and see the very cheap brown paper. It is a great shame

Takes me back to my childhood. Shepherd's illustrations are far better than the horrible Disney versions.

Using it for reading to children. Only niggle is with font size- would have liked a bigger one.Thanks.

Fantastic purchase. I bought this to replace a paperback set that was lost. Now I can share these stories with my grandchildren in a book that is more robust and resilient!!!Purchase and delivery were both excellent and I would recommend this site to anyone, especially as there is a donation to charity taken from the purchase price. Very happy.
