Alta Bicycle Alloy Classic MX Style Brake Set, Multiple Colors.

Pretty good MX1000 rear brake copy, caliper and handle are decent, but I’ll probably replace the cable. I bought the silver and think the colored ones are painted, not anodized. Great for budget builds.

I like that the handlebar part is two piece, so that takes the grip part out of the equation. Usually that piece you have to get the grip off (which can be a pain) to replace the brake lever. I bought a replacement caliper before this one for the same bike and the arms that have the brake pads were too short. These fit great. The only part that I’m not a fan of is that the cable is a little long for this bike.

Had to repair my sons 20” bike from academy. The blue matched his bike and front break assembly PERFECTlY! Installed in minutes with and fits perfect.

Not good for anything. Very cheap as to be expected. If you care about your kids, spend more money on something better. Brake isnt easy to adjust, its very hard to pull in, junk.

I wouldn’t recommend due to the left side hugging the rim. Tried tightening it to the frame as tight as we could, but if you manually center it, once the brake is pressed, the left side doesn’t return to the centered position. It’ll be fine, but I’ll be blowing through brakes frequently but it beats coaster brakes
