Core Meditation Trainer: Meditation Device for Relaxation, Stress Relief, and Anxiety Relief with Built in Mental Health Wellness App (Premium)

I’ve had Core for a few years now and have used it pretty religiously the last year or so. It’s by far the best tool I’ve discovered to help instill the practice of meditation. Having something tactile to hold which vibrates along with each breathing technique is super effective and helps focus your attention even as a beginner; the metrics are interesting and allow you to chart your progress; the meditations are excellent, routinely updated, and allow you to listen to other apps such as Spotify if you prefer to vibe out to your own music or have it on in the BG of a meditation. I have purchased Core as a gift also for several friends. It’s a wonderful device and worth every penny!!

I have a busy brain and when I have attempted meditation in the past I have no idea if I am "doing it right" or making progress. The vibrations in Core give me one thing to focus on and the immediate feedback is a real plusI have only one complaint: I wish the charging connector was in the device, not the flimsy stand. I see that stand as an impediment to taking it when I travel and unnecessary to the design. (Example: I have the hypersphere massager which is identical in size and it charges directly on the device. Another software related thing: it would be great if this connected with some of the other health apps.

I Love the core meditation trainer. It motivates you to meditate like Fitbit motivates you to walk. Since I bought this I have bought 4 others as gifts and 3 other people bought them once they tried mine. I am writing this review in hopes that it will be seen by the company so they can address the customer service issue. I have had this under a year and it did stop working. It reads the meditation, but the vibration isn’t working. I tried all the recommended trouble shooting and attempted to reach out 4 times. I hope this gets fixed because the product is great. I will be purchasing another one, but really it should have been getting replaced since it’s inside the warranty period. All this being said I still recommend buying it if you have any interest in meditating.

Updated to 4 stars from my original 1 star review below after Hyperice fixed a bug in their app that allowed me to pair it to my phone. I really like the device - it is helping me focus in meditation practice better than anything I have tried. I hope to use it for many years.Original review:I really wanted this device to support a meditation practice, however I could not get it to pair and got no support from Hyperice (and minimal communcation) after 2 weeks beyond telling me to reset the device and offering a replacement (which would not pair either).For the technically minded:- Samsung S9+ running Android 10- I was able to pair "Core⚓ XXXX", "XXXXX", and "net" through the Bluetooth interface at various times. None of this satisfies the app, however.- I cleared the app's cache and data- I cleared the phone's Bluetooth cache- I unpaired all other Bluetooth devices from my phone- I reset my network settings- I factory reset my phoneI was able to successfully pair the Core to my husband's Galaxy S10+. This review reflects the customer support experience, and is a warning for other S9/9+ owners; I was not able to really evaluate the Core experience.
