Great product - Don't underestimate preparation time
Product is great, and applies easily, I agree with many comments, expect to use 50% more than they suggest, so a apply 450sqft kit to 300 sqft. The results are amazing. Some reviews talk about needing 4X the amount, that is likely for fresh poured, untreated concrete, you would need to apply the recommended primer first if you have freshly poured concrete, otherwise its all going to soak in. I had a few patches where the concrete was badly damaged, you could see the coating soaking into those areas, and it took way more product to cover those small areas.Preparation of the floor is crucial; mine was a 23-year-old, well used garage floor, buy the recommended floor cleaner & degreaser if you have an old floor. I also bought a squeegee to help remove, and rinse the floor thoroughly, I scrubbed mine twice and it removed 20+ years of oil drips, brake fluid stains and grime. Then generously apply the acid etch, there is plenty in the kit, and wait at least 20 mins, while repeatedly adding more and scrubbing with the acid application brush. it turns milky colored as the calcium is etched out of the concrete floor. Rinse thoroughly, let it dry for at least a day, i left it 2-days in cool weather, and then apply the recommended epoxy filler to fill the defects in the floor, the filler sets relatively quickly and you can coat over it with about an hour wait on small defects.Application process is easy after that! you really do only have about 45 mins to one hour to apply, i applied mine while temps were 65F so in the cooler range for curing. Leave overnight and it is dry to the touch.Great product, be patient with preparation. if you leave any of that longer then the colored flakes don't blend with the epoxy and tend to stay on the surface (still firmly attached).Spreading the flakes evenly is a challenge, and don't use the tiny broken bits left near the bottom of the packet, they look aweful. I have a patch of those, and it doesn't look good, . . . . i learn quickly and didn't make that mistake again, only i would know where it was through.

Worked great. Make sure to fill cracks first.
Overall great product. Ran into a few issues that I want to share. The instructions make it sound like this product will dry as soon as you lay it down. I found that I didn't really need to rush it. Applied in 90 degree heat.Pretty much impossible to throw the flakes over your head and keep them 9 inches away from the edge. I did my best but kept a yard blower handy to push any flakes back from the unpainted to painted section as I applied. Also difficult to do was get the nonskid sand to apply evenly. I tried with a salt shaker on one side and hand throwing on the other. I probably wouldn't have bothered as the flakes provide some skid resistance but I wash my car in the garage so didn't want to take a chance.Last - I had a couple of hairline cracks in the floor. As thick as the coating is I thought it would fill them in but found it actually made them stand out more. After the coating dried I was able to apply Sika flex crack repair and wipe away the excess with some mineral spirits. A lighter gray (I had used dark gray) but certainly acceptable. Probably wouldn't even show up with the light gray but still would have been better if I had done beforehand.

Covers HALF of what it’s supposed to!
Fully agree with the consensus that there is clearly a discrepancy between what the box says it covers, (1-car garage; 200-250sq ft) and what it actually covers. The area shown in my picture is approx 10.5’ x 8-10’. This is as far as one kit got me. It was apparent after I started pouring/spreading the product that it was not going to cover the entirety of my garage floor (which was prepped correctly, is not particularly porous, and is level). And I spread it relatively thin because I was really hoping to not have to buy a second kit (although it looks considerably better the thicker it is applied).Obviously, I did have to buy a second kit, and these are not cheap!! (Although cost on Amazon is approx $75 less than Lowes/HD). Over $300 for a one-car garage seems insane to me.On the plus side, the kit is remarkably easy to use (I would consider myself a moderately-savvy DIY-er). And once it fully cures (more like 5 days compared to 24-hr claim), it is quite literally, rock hard. I have yet to drive on it, but am quite confident it will not be peeling off, it feels like glass. My concern would be cracking. Will update this post if any issues develop after parking a salt-covered vehicle on it. For this price, it better not budge!

Plan on two coats
Unless you’re putting this on a polished concrete floor, plan on two coats, which means other products like Polyurea are probably actually cheaper AND higher quality in the long run.I put this on a 12x12 (150 add) concrete floor in my laundry room attached to my garage. My floor is pretty rough concrete, think broom finish/textured, but it's not damaged/spalled. I knew going in from reviews here and on allgaragefloors to expect less than the advertised coverage, but I was still shocked this couldn’t even cover 150 SF properly. The 1 car kit claims to be able to cover 200-250SF, but definitely didn’t cover my 150sf floor. It left huge dry spots where the concrete was rougher or more porous. It did lay smoothly cover the cracks I’d epxoyed over where there was no absorption into bare concrete. After a second coat it does look good. The problem is that if I’d know I'd need 2 coats, I’d have either bought the 2.5 car kit and saved a little money there over having to but two 1 car kits. I feel the one-car kit is basically useless, maybe it’d cover 75-100 sf if you rolled it super gently to keep it super thick. However, it's likely I would have just bought Polyurea or polyaspartic for the same total cost (or less) and used that for a single thicker coat than this polycruamine stuff provides with two coats.
