Ridden with feminist degeneracy
The book itself is quiet good for learning Deutsch. Though I don't approve of the editors job letting her African-BBC-craving insanity affect book content's feminist context. Plus there are so many metaphorical sentences with intricate meanings, which make it hard to soak it up.Overall, good book.

Small portable size. Good bust have not read it yet
Looks good so far. Smaller than expected, wish ink of text was darker.

Great basic German grammar
Had to look hard for a basic no frills German grammar. This filled the bill. This will really build your German!

This is a really useful book but especially for those who try to relearn German. For absolute beginners it might be a bit hard to start on cause it kind of jumps into the middle of things, not impossible to follow the books guidelines but should recommend something lighter to start with for absolute beginners.

Not very good
I've just looked at the imperative mood in detail:There's no indication as to how to use this in the negative form ('don't omit this!') - don't omit this!It says in the opening section that there are THREE main forms for the imperative (you sing., plural, polite) and in the final 'key point section' 'The imperative has FOUR forms: du, ihr, Sie [i.e. you] and wir [us].' - this fourth form is not even mentioned, let alone explained (except with 'sein' where its existence is noted but the verb form then not actually given). At least one example has nothing to do with normal German speech (Mach es auch richtig!).Also the book does not give any German terms for grammar points as far as I can see.The layout is bland and unhelpful.Wouldn't recommend at all.

Good but doesn't contain reflexive verbs in tables
The book is comprehensive and easy to use, the extra vocab in the back for each topic is a nice touch and helps with learning when you don't have a lot of time as an adult. The verb tables are quite good and it covers everything except reflexive verbs which is a bit of a shame because you will eventually need those too hence 4 stars. The first third of the book is grammar explanation which is also covered/near identical to the practice book version, although without the quizzes after each chapter obviously. Second third of the book is the verb tables and a verb index, final third is vocab and useful phrases. Good value for money and a great resources for those who are independent. If you're someone who needs heavy guidance and prompt from resources this isn't for you, I recommend getting the practice alongside this really boosts learning. Highly recommend

A must have for students and German-lovers
Not much more to say other than "great". There is a whole section of verb tables, an extensive vocab section helpfully split by topic (great for GCSE German and extended writing tasks with a topic) and very helpful explanation of grammar. An extensive, comprehensive and complete guide to the German Language.

A decent reference book.
The title, Easy Learning, could mislead. The book is a very useful reference to help with grammar and usage. Learning requires lots of examples, questions and answers. It doesn't meet that need. It suits me fine; I read German well, but need some assistance in writing and speaking the language. It may or may not suit you.
