GARMONTBifida mens Boots

Size up!
I loved the look of these, but I ordered my normal size, 8.5 women's, but they were super narrow and too snug in general. I have slightly wider feet, so I think men's boots are a better fit for me. Just something to keep in mind!

Amazing boot
This is by far my favorite boot I've bought. Had a short break in period, a week or two to work out the stiffness and not hurt my ankles. I work more in the office than the field but they've been great for rucking, Iron Sergeant and everything else I've put them throughout lately. I was surprised how comfortable they are and don't want to wear any other boots. My Merrell boots used to be my favorite, mostly because of cost and comfort, but these are definitely worth paying a little extra for.

Order a half size up, and expect to break them in
I love these boots so far, having put a couple hundred kilometres into them since purchase. Before you buy, I do recommend you keep a few things in mind:I found that the size worked well for me when I ordered a half-size up from what I expected. I wear compression socks and have inserted plantar fasciitis insoles, and the fit is snug but comfortable that way. They do not move around, cause no undue fatigue, and sit exactly where they should. As some reviewers have mentioned, there is a possible hot spot on top of your foot where one of the rivets pushes downwards into the boot. In my case, I found that the pressure was relieved as long as I made sure to pull the boot's tongue taut after inserting my foot - the tongue of the boot was bunching under the rivet and causing pressure, so when the tongue is pulled into its proper position that pressure is removed. This takes almost no extra time while donning the boots and has managed the issue completely for me, though I imagine people with differently shaped feet may have a different experience. The boots come with some rudimentary water resistance, though I do recommend hitting them with an extra coat of your favourite leather/suede waterproofing solution for good measure if you intend to take them anywhere that is constantly damp. As you might expect from this type of boot, however, that won't help you if you step into water that is more than about ankle deep, as the water makes its way into the boot around the tongue and through the lacing holes (in my experience, anyway). On the plus side, they dried out very quickly with no more work than simply opening them up fully and setting them aside overnight.I hope that helps someone!

First impressions time will tell
I’m a 8 in most I bought 1/2 size up and they fit great , quality looks great and feel good on yet to do some miles but I did a lot of research before buying this boot . Looked at many others this was coming up one of the top. Some were not available in the uk . Happy with my decision. For a super light boot the sole is very substantial
