I don’t recall, and I left the puzzle with my teenage granddaughters (who immediately finished it). But Ravenburger puzzles are so reliable, I’ll bet the exact answer to your question is printed on the Amazon site.

Are the puzzle pieces small or larger?

The pieces are small. That is, the same size one would find in a 1,000 or 2,000 piece puzzle.

Is there a fold out paper picture inside? Or just the box photo? Thanks.

like most Ravensburgers I have done the box picture is it. some have a picture on a sheet with info about the artist but in that case the picture is usually smaller than the box lid and I don't recall that this particular puzzle had that.
