Perfect length for two spam slices side by side on a full sheet of nori. Not overly tall as to have too much rice to spam ratio. Easy to clean by hand. Could easily accommodate extra fillings for musubi (tamago) or as a beginning guide for maki sushi (fill with rice and veggies, press lightly, roll). Would buy again.

Seems to be made of two different materials. Has more play than my last brick maker.time will tell how it holds up to my sons abuse.

I bought this for my kids after seeing how to make musubi on YouTube, but it's a pity that the gap is narrow. The one I saw in a Japanese store was wider than this.

Love this item! Spray or rub a little cooking oil on it before use. It will help the contents slide out better with the sticky rice. Yummy, with salmon, cream cheese and cucumber as well 😋!
