My autistic son has learned how to undo the bathroom and toilet locks from the outside. I need something not permanent to use as a secondary lock till he learns that this is not ok.This fits the bill perfectly. It was cheap and gives everyone reassurance that they're not going to get a 3ft instuder in the bathroom whilst they shower.It's a bit fiddly to fit but easy to remove. I wouldn't say it's sturdy as the door will still rattle and give a cm or so.I will definitely take it with us when we stay in hotels in future for the extra piece of mind to help me feel safe.

Be careful with this product, it does not fit all doors, and the tilting tactic won't work. Waste of money.

Awesome product but too bad it isn't universal. It didn't fit some of my doors. Good weight and pretty sturdy.

I ordered this as was staying in a BnB alone and wanted extra security. Quickly delivery and so simple to use - exactly how it was described.Gave me extra peace of mind which when travelling alone is what you want. Would highly recommend. I did read the reviews that said it didn’t fit their door.. and ignored them. Hoped for the best!Unfortunately it took me 3 weeks to test it and find it does not in fact fit and now it’s too late to return.It’s a basic very common door I have so pretty annoyed it doesn’t fit. What a waste of money 😂

I wasn't sure about these locks after reading reviews but ordered one a different type from another seller.This one works perfectly, (I actually went ahead and bought a second) in every door I've tried it in so far, it has two size types which is great because I required both types for different doors. I am in IRL. I purchased for international travel so I hoping it works abroad in hotels with ease. I highly recommend this type and i think the price is very reasonable.

Seem good quality however I still have to find a door that it fits do no I would not recommend

I was sceptical about this lock actually working having read some reviews that this item is useless. I went away with family and got my own hotel room. Having read stories of random people entering rooms in hotels I felt I had to try something. First time using and this lock fitted the hotel bedroom door with ease even though it looked like there wouldn’t be enough door gap to accommodate the lock. No damage done to the door and I was able to relax on my holiday!

Bought these for a chalet I rented. Super sturdy. I read reviews that people were getting stuck and couldn’t unlock the door after installing this and can kind of see how that happens, if the door doesn’t open it’s because the plate isn’t sitting right and just needs to be pushed in flush to frame, if you panic or try to take it out without it sitting properly yes you could get stuck. I think they worked amazing and it out my mind at ease being a chalet in the middle of nowhere. I now use them for my apartment door as I think they could be a lifesaver. Better safe than sorry

I tried to lock my apartment and bedroom doors and it did not stop either door from being opened. I will be requesting a full refund.
