Bought the two pack of the TP49 and they are very easy to use and understand.Simply unbox them, make sure a battery is installed correctly and put them in the location you want to monitor for temperature and humidity.I put both of them together in the same location to start with and they both recorded the same temperature and humidity - always a good start. They are easy to read, with the temperature clearly displayed at the top and the humidity at the bottom (with a little smiley face depending on the humidity level). The temperature can be switched between displaying Celsius or Fahrenheit.It is small, so doesn't take up too much space and can be put out of the way. It has a little stand to help it stand upright and not fall over with small knocks when placed on a hard surface. It also has a little slot for a nail or hook if you want to hang it on a wall and also a small magnet if you want to attach it to something metal.I really like the fact that it uses a AAA battery. These last longer than the coin batteries that many others use.

I bought two packets of these so I can monitor humidity and temperature in different rooms in my home. The monitors are compact and so it’s unintrusive to have them displayed. They have little stands on the back and so can easily be stood upright on a shelf etc. The screens are bright and clear and so it’s easy to see the info on glance. In order to check accuracy and functionality, I initially put all the monitors together and the results were good - they were registering the same temperature and humidity levels with only a very slight variance. So accurate enough to do the job. The monitors themselves seem sturdy enough and it was easy to open them to insert batteries and start measuring. The monitors came with batteries which was an unexpected bonus.

I was initially sceptical about the accuracy of this hygrometer and wasn't convinced that it was suitable for monitoring humidity in a humidor, but changed my mind after checking them in a controlled environment over a 24 hour period. I own three of these in total and all displayed temperature correct to within 0.1°C. Humidity was accurate to within 1%. I have a number of ThermoPro products around the house that we use to monitor temperature and humidity in different rooms. This three pack is really good value although the display and features are less extensive than the model TP50 units that I have brought in the past. The TP50s also provide the highest and lowest values for both temperature and humidity since the unit was last reset.I just wanted some cheaper, simpler units and actually these fit the bill very well. At the time of my last order the unit price of one these TP49-3 units is about half that of a TP50 unit. The TP49s are slightly smaller but still with a good sized and easily readable display. Like all ThermoPro thermometers the units may be switched between Fahrenheit and Celsius. There is a simple 'smiley face' icon that changes depending on whether the room is wet, dry or just right. There are several mounting options, comprising a pull out stand, a magnet and a hanging slot.One word of warning would be that the screens are fragile and relatively easy to damage. We have lost a couple of the TP50 units to clumsiness and impacts in hard surfaces. Ergo they are probably not all that suitable around small children unless they are well out of reach.Overall, a good well made set of 3 units at a price I wanted to pay. Each comes with a AAA battery and one can expect that to last up to a year. The battery is simple to replace and when I do not break them I have several units that are more than 5 years old and still working perfectly. So a good buy then!

I bought two, one specifically for the kitchen for baking purposes. Neat little monitors that are accurate, with an easy to read display. Useful for checking room temperatures for all reasons - ie comfort; wellbeing of houseplants that might require min/max temperatures; and the main reason I bought one in the first place, for making sourdough bread in my not very warm kitchen at 17C. I didn't know that til I bought one of these! Inexpensive, well made, useful little gadget. Every room should have one!

Great items, I have 1 in each room so I can keep an eye on humidity levels and act accordingly. As far as I know they are pretty accurate.I couldn't do without them now.I move my dehumidifier in whichever room the display shows that the humidity is above 60 and I rely on them 'at a glance'I find I use my dehumidifier less since I have had these monitors to display the humidity /temperature levels.I also find it great watching the temp get higher as the humity levels display lower. (it's the little things, lol)Really easy to read too.

These inexpensive little devices seem to be very accurate and with very little time lag. They are invaluble for monitoring the relative humidity around the house, and help to identify areas where there is a problem, and also how effective things like extractor fans and open windows are. Just remember; the drier the air, the easier it is to warm it.

I now have 4 of these dotted around the house, purchased at different times. Reminds me that I don't need the heating on! Therefore, great money-saving devices. Easy to use. Neat. No problems so far, though I did notice that when the 4 were side-by-side they did not give quite the same reading - perhaps the calibration is not uniform. Not enough to make much difference to me though, but I wouldn't want to rely on absolute accuracy.
