Works fine - even in the dash
My wife's car has an antenna cable that was intermittent just behind the metal plug into the radio. We could be driving along with good reception and then it would just cut out. I purchased this on a whim to try and it resolved her intermittent radio issues. I'd definitely recommend to anyone having similar issues.

The cord was real long but I could only get good service in town
I was only able to get radio stations clear right in the middle of town like the minute I left in the middle of the city almost every station was fuzzy and staticy and sticker was no good I had to stick use a little glue to put it up
