Solved a problem for me, cheaply
Anyone with a subwoofer knows: if there's any electronics in there with the sub they're gonna be rattled to pieces. That's what happened to my Adam speakers, pretty high end stuff. The 2.1 system started crackling during playback so I troubleshot it to the crossover that's built into the sub.I just put this between my monitor control and the speakers, and it works GREAT! If you really wanna hear what your system can do, you need to pay attention to crossover freqs!I have one complaint: Once you have it dialed in, adjustments are hair-sized! A very slight turn of the knobs makes large differences. That's what you end up with with a small form factor like this one.Good piece of gear.

easy for novice to use...works great
first I'll say i'm a big fan of every piece of Rockville equipment i have bought and used...this crossover as well...you don't have to be an audio wizard to use this crossover...simple unit with simple instructions and Rockville has easy to follow videos that show you how to set up this unit and use it if you're nnot good with written manuals...i recently got into building speaker boxes and adding amps and speakers to my home audio setup...so it became necessary to have a crossover to direct frequencies to the appropriate speakers...easy to use...reasonably priced, and functions as stated...get one

Good value budget crossover, with typical minor budget issues
I've had this for six years and just realized the front panel has the 500 and 5k hz labels for 1x and 10x ranges swapped above the Crossover Freq knobs, which is what prompted me to leave this review lol. I'm amazed no reviews have pointed that out or it was never corrected. Since getting it I've used it in a few different live PA setups and in a studio setting for processing audio... probably 400+ hours in use for events, and wouldn't be surprised at 2-3x that powered on.The biggest issue I've had with this crossover is that the XLR jacks aren't great, and sometimes the outputs won't make the best contact with cables (the pins may be slightly narrow). The blue LED is also a nightmare abomination. No issue with the pots so far. Sound quality is fine, and it's easy enough to upgrade various components, XLR jacks, LED if you're capable. When I bought this in 2018 it was $53, and at that price it was a great deal and significantly cheaper than any other option. At $100, it's competing with used crossovers that will be higher quality, so it looks like less of a bargain. However, if you need a crossover in a rush and you're on a budget, it's hard not to get your money's worth out of it.

Works great
Needed a separate gain control for my PA subwoofers that I could control separate from my mains. This worked great. I'm running it through low input and not sub input because I get a lot more gain output that way. Sub in/out doesn't move the subs that much.

Broke after a month
I bought this for using the sound system in our cafeteria. And I noticed it was having a hum in it and it’s in the system. Unfortunately, three days ago was the last day I could return it so I’m stuck with this unit.

Awesome product @
It does the job. My sound system has never been that crystal clear. It separates the high, the mid and low. Would recommend it!

Balanced sound plus sub crossover
Best investment I've made in regards to music equipment and upgrading my sound. I have four monitor speakers. Two of the speakers are great for highs and the other two handles the lows better. This single piece of rack equipment balanced my sound perfectly.
