My first time with A La Maison soap. The lavender is great. A lightly scented lavender fragrance that smells authentic. A HUGE bar of soap that is creamy and lathers nicely. I really like that it doesn't have those terrible chemicals found in so many soaps. It feels good on my skin during and after showering with no grittiness. It is not the bright lime green in the stock photo but a drab olive-grey if that matters to anyone. I am enclosing a picture for reference.

Nice quality, long lasting soap. The scent is the closest thing to fresh lavender that I've found (I grow lavender). One cake used daily lasted about 2 months.
