Q: how long does it last in the fridge?

I’d say at least 4-5 months or longer, there is no expiration dates on the gallon jug but once I see separation of the oil I do throw it out. I check for clear liquid on top as a sign it’s starting to break down

Q: How long can it sit on shelf before it is opened, planning on moving out of state in September , and don't plan to use until then thanks

I would imagine its fine for some time if sitting on the shelf unopened. 6 months maybe more.
