love the portability of this tool. easy to use and solid

Drive screw is warped and is not easy to turn. Dog holes don't line up from handle to workspace. Think they poured a quart of finish on the backside and didn't bother to wipe it off. Didnt bother to clean up glue either. I can fix all issues, but why should I?

No assembly required. Hard wood, portable and easy to put away. Didn't like the price too much BUT still a good tool to have. 👍

No assembly required. They provide C clamps to anchor it to your workbench but I immediately drilled 4 holes and secured it with 3" wood screws. It's fairly small and it would be easy to overload it but for my purposes (e.g., musical instrument repair) it's solid, big enough and an incredible bargain!

This portable work bench is nice and solid it feels sturdy and has a fine finish. It comes with 4 dogs to hold your work and feels solid when the vice is closed. The handle feels sloppy before it is tightened. You would think they could easily have fixed that with a shim or something. I will be taking it apart to fix that problem. Seems funny not to have a proper fit on a good quality vice. This vice is great for holding your work piece, so your hands are free to hold your tools and save your hands from injury.

This is the second one sent to me like this where the holes on the vice don't line up with the bench top. What is going on here.

This portable wooden vise arrived neatly packaged without any damage. it looks nice and appears sturdy. however, I observed a few issues:1. the handle is very wobbly / sloppy. that may affect long-term reliability and functioning.2. the peg holes don't line up (image 3).3. the "fix wood bar" does not fit on the vise side (image 1).4. one screw was cracked during manufacturer's assembly (image 2), which again raised the questions of long-term quality and reliability.for the MSRP, one would expect a high-quality product right of the bat. unfortunately, there appears to be pervasive quality control / design issues, based on mine and others' review.

Works great for me. I had read from other reviewers that their bench dogs didn't line up properly so was worried I might get a bad one as well but mine lines up great. Not sure if that means there is an inconsistency or if it points to an old problem that was fixed at some point but worth checking newer reviews than mine to make sure that isn't an ongoing problem. Otherwise, it's a nice area to work on small projects that need to be clamped down.
