I have been trying to find this product in my local grocery stores as I always was able to do in the past.None of my local stores carry this item..but I found it on Amazon. Thanks Amazon, for providing it!!This is an excellent tasting cheese spread, for some on bread, for me on soda crackers. Love it!

Dr. Pimento!
This is the same Kraft Pimento Cheese spread I have been using during the holidays for the last 20-30 years! The viscosity and flavor may have changed a little from 3 decades ago(what hasn't), but it's relatively the same product. My only gripe is price! I used to work at a Ford Parts supply house, and when a part was "going obsolete" the price would sky-rocket! Sadly, this appears to be what is happening to this product also. So, Kraft! Why are you discontinuing this product!? I still see that nasty excuse for cheese spread "Old English" all the time in the supermarkets. In fact, the "Old English" Kraft product that's in all the markets I go to is the same case of jars they've had in stock for the last year. nobody is buying them! If you need to drop a product, then drop the "Old English" and bring back the "Pimento"! Whyyyy!12/5/23Well, I did my due diligence. I submitted a question to the Kraft website. They said that the pimento cheese product is not being discontinued. It's more of an availability problem. When I called around and used the Kraft product locator, I found that none of the stores in Central and Southern California carry it. I even called a couple of local stores and inquired with the appropriate SKU #, and the store says that they can't get it. Why? Oddly, Raley's in Northern California still carries it. Probably some corporate BS!

The taste
This product has the taste I was expecting. It was very good. The price was a shock.

poor in all respects
This product is free of pomantoes, has no taste and looks like w hite pudding. To top it off, both jars have an expiration date of June 2025. The taste could be implimatic of the age of the product. Frankly,, I wouldn't feed this to a racoon.......

Why I bought this product.
This was part of a birthday present so that’s why I didn’t mind the price. Who I got it for loves this stuff. Otherwise, I probably wouldn’t have gotten it because of the price, which was a bit too high for two small jars. But then, you’re also paying for convenience too.

I love this cheese spread!
I have purchased this product for years but suddenly couldn't find it in any of our local markets. I even checked with Kraft's Foods and I was under the impression it was no longer on the market. I did notice a difference in the wording of the ingredients where it now says cream cheese instead of neufshfel (spelling or something that sounded like that). In any event, it tastes great and I hope they are still making the one with olives in it too.
