Has anyone used this with a ceramic heat emitter? If so, how was it?

It works really well. I've used it with 75W, 100W, and 150W ceramic heat emitters. Keep in mind their 5" is rated for 75W, so go beyond that at your own risk. (The socket says 250V/660W, and an 18AWG wire should be fine up to 1200W.)

Does it come with a bulb?

No, bulb is not included. Package contains the fixture (with attached reflector bowl) and clamp.

How long is the power cord?

I wanna say like 7-8 feet ( like a lamp cord .

Has anyone tried using with a smart plug? Does it work?

Mine is connected to a thermostat, which controls it based on the temperature in the enclosure, and it works.
