Good general work shoe for light chores
I bought these for doing messy jobs around the house (painting and plastering) and yard work. I wanted something that was sturdy enough for working on my feet but easy to slip off so I don’t track dirt around the house. I know these are made for kitchen work, but they’re great for other work too. Easy to clean, pretty sturdy, decent toe protection (not steel toes of course but decently hard rubber toe box.) And they don’t look goofy like Crocs—i hate the way those look. Fairly comfortable to wear for a long time too. I’m surprised how much I like these things. Good value for the price.

Almost perfect!
This would have been the perfect shoes for my job in healthcare. The size and fit is unexpectedly close to perfect. The only negative thing is that, because I'm always standing at work, some toes on both feet received trauma, causing hematoma to the nail beds. You may want to think twice in buying this if you have Greek feet or something similar. Otherwise, these are really good shoes.

Trades blows with similar Crocs slip ons
I bought these Avia Clogs to replace a pair of Croc clogs. The Crocs were the popular "On the clock" style, and these Avia looked pretty similar. I will say they trade blows (good and bad) with one another and if you're like me who was looking for a change of pace, they're fine at the end of the day but not substantially better or different. The Crocs are more comfortable to wear while the Avia is definitely stiffer. However, the finish of the Crocs looks more textured while the Avia are smoother. If you're looking for a classic "work shoe" style, the Avia wins in this regard. The Avia material is also a lot thicker than the Croc, so durability wise I would say they can stand up to more abuse. That being said, the insoles that come with the Avia are completely too hard for comfort. It's a type of hardened foam which doesn't feel supportive at all. I had to switch out the insoles after a couple of days of use, immediately feeling better once I did. The Crocs included insoles were more comfortable out the door, but I too eventually replaced them with softer insoles. Keep in this mind for either shoe if you're deciding between the two. Both shoes are fine for standing on carpet or hard floors but are terrible for walking long distances. I did 2 miles in these shoes casually walking around the city and found them just too rigid for that task day to day. If whatever job you're doing also requires a lot of sidewalk "here and there", you might have to buy some pretty expensive insoles to put in these to not cramp up.
