Q: replacement blades available?

Q: I know you will have to sharpen the blades. my question is after you sharpen will they hold a edge? after cutting into hard wood. like maple or oak?

No the are not very good. When I first got them they were ok not great but ok for just beginning to learn on soft woods. As soon as I tried on hard wood it was frustrating would not hold the edge. Not worth the money!

The blades on mine do not "lock in" at all. The blades just fall out. Won mine in a giveaway and I thought it was missing a piece. After looking in to it, it isn't missing anything. So my guess is manufacturer defect.
