What is the warranty .

I think the default warranty is 6 months. I am not 100% sure though.

Is an OBD connector required, or does it just connect to the USB charging port?

Yes, it can be adjusted. Read through the manual and follow the instructions. I had to adjust mine twice, and now it is in synch with the Dash.
