I got 1x10 Blue and 1x10 Orange and I have to say I'm glad I got these! They arrived in a plastic container with air holes, some soil and a cardboard strip, along with some surprise springtails (which I was planning to buy separately anyways)!The box, along with some free swag and a pocket pouch, was packaged in a slab of styrofoam. The box does say LIVE PETS on every side, so if your apartment has issues with pets, do be aware they might see it if it's left at a common locker or something.The Isopods were great! Healthy, active and bright! Perfect addition to my terrarium. I added the soil in too and later blended it into my terrarium's substrate so the springtails and anything else in there could thrive as well!Definitely recommend! We have 15 species in our mixed colony and we have ordered at least 8 or 9 of our various species from this supplier. We have been very pleased every single time. The price is fair and they have all arrived alive and healthy every time. (Seriously, I have not found a single dead isopod, which is more than any reasonable person would expect for multiple deliveries of live insects at various times of year and temperature. I don’t know what their secret is, but it works!) Isopods have been a wonderful low maintenance hobby for our mildly autistic sons (ages 3 and 6). A mixed colony offers so many opportunities to discuss and learn about responsibility, social interaction, kindness and caring for others. We also use it as a way to discuss differences in outer appearance even though the isopods are basically all the same on the inside. We talk about how even though they look different and have different personalities, they all get along in their cooperative community. (They really do have different personalities- some species are very assertive while others are very shy.) The background story and personal experience that the seller shared on the site was inspirational and ultimately that was what convinced me to try isopods as a hobby for my sons. As it turns out, I have just as much fun with it as they do!

Pods came in amazing shape! Fast shipping too. They instantly began to surface when I opened the container. Not sure if it's the exact purpose, but the little piece of cardboard made for a great bridge so I didn't have to dump them out. Up and over the bridge right into the terrarium. Active, happy and healthy is all I can ask for when ordering little buggies.I was skeptical ordering them on Amazon of all places, but my skepticism was immediately proven wrong when I saw how healthy they looked and acted.

the order came so quit and i love the idea and think it is so cute. love that there’s a sticker saying there’s one pregnant and the tag saying to test out what the roly poly might like. and then packaging kept all of mine i orders alive. I am so happy with my order and think the business is amazing.

My daughter asked to add roly polys to our small but growing collection of fish, reptiles, and bugs. I hoped these little guys would arrive in time for her birthday and sure enough they have! Great packaging, happy and healthy isopods, excellent care instructions!We are very excited to use the pocket keeper for trips to grandma’s house and a special school show and tell day!We will absolutely be purchasing the other varieties in the future. When my isopod arrived, I had ordered two types, you could not distinguish them apart, and they were all dumped in one container. I had to return everything at a cost of $10 to me. Do not order.

I just settled in my 2nd batch of sweet and quite lively Roly Polies! As soon as I opened the plastic, they all ran off in their new habitat. These are a beautiful blue grey color. Great seller - I'll be back
