I am glad I bought this bracket kit to build a sturdy and good looking pergola on my patio. The brackets are solid, have not rusted at all even in heavy rain and the pergola holds up well to stronger winds too.

Price is right. Worked great for a small pergola at 8x6 ft. Sturdy and had no issues. All hardware was supplied. No complaints

Item is good except hexagon screws that are low quality

These things are easier to use and provide a much more professional look to the project than other, more conventional methods.

It'll get the job done. Just make sure you have to take an extra trip to the hardware store for all the screws they forgot to include. The welding is absolutely garbage but the screws (which I will reiterate that I had to purchase myself separately in this included kit) will hold onto the wood.Careful not to overtighten the screws you'll probably also have to buy, or it can pop the world's crappiest spot welding. It feels more like my wood is holding together the brackets. But,got the job done, so 3/5. Just praying there's no wind. I can't imagine there will be much stability.

Simple & stable. We did this with all 10' posts, but if you go longer/higher than 8' we would recommend adding the cross-brace structural support you see on ours. We added an led light net across the top, as we are on a wooded lot and don't need more shade and we have already thought of several more uses!
