Best salt substitute available, hands down.
I’ve been on a low sodium diet for years now and I’ve tried so many salt substitutes I’ve lost track. Some where bitter, some left weird aftertastes, others didn’t make anything taste saltier. This is truly the closest thing to salt I’ve ever had. I’ve ordered this lots of times and the quality is consistent. The grain size is like salt, making it easy to use in a shaker. I highly recommend this.

Quality Potassium
It only takes a very small amount for a serving. What I do is figure out the exact amount for two weeks, fill a 6 ounce bottle with filtered water and put that amount in it, then use some of that every day in a glass of water or juice every day for those two weeks. I take it with a Magnesium Glycinate capsule every day to prevent cramps in my legs and feet and help me sleep at night.

Be careful of amout you consume.
No problems with product or seller or manufacturer. The use of potassium as a supplement has caused severe muscle cramps while asleep, waking me in some serious distress. I do not have any muscle cramps at all ever, never have, never before. Have tried taking this supplement at a different time of day, and at different times before or after a meal. I am not suffering any other health orwellness issues, and only takung this potassium once a week causes no side effects. Taking this potassium once per day for several days in a row leads to really bad leg muscle cramps when i am at rest. May be my work habits, other food im having, can't say. Just be careful how much you take. Potassium is involved in muscle function as part of it's chemistry in the body. When i first started taking it, it did make me feel energetic, almost younger and stronger, within that same day. I'm kinda scared of it now, will only add supplemental potassium to my diet once a week right now.

Potassium chloride is 3 times as salty as sodium chloride (table salt).
Heart Associations recommend that the maximum amount of Sodium added to the diet every day (as Sodium Chloride or ordinary table salt) is 2 grams, and Potassium as in this Potassium Chloride is 3 grams for maintenance of normal blood pressure. Too much Sodium causes fluid retention in the blood and leads to high blood pressure. Since bananas contain about 0.4 grams of Potassium each, you would have to eat 7 bananas a day to get this much potassium. A way to do this is to add 1/3 the amount in place of ordinary salt of potassium chloride to savory foods. Do not take this neat (by itself) as it causes erosions (tiny ulcers) with mouth throat and stomach pain. Had been taking this for years for high blood pressure and leg cramps: previously was pharmaceutical grade (USP) but now comes with a California Prop 65 warning about Lead content. Although packed in the US, this is probably made in the NOW factory in India where the QC may be worse than in China. Any information by an independent testing lab with no link to this manufacturer (NOW) as to the Lead content of this product? No response in contacting NOW customer care in Illinois. Would be good if manufacturing went back to USP grade.

Great substitute if on low sodium chloride (salt) intake
I've used NOW products for several years and have yet to have any trouble with them. This is my second bottle of their Potassium Chloride since I quit using regular salt in my diet. I haven't noticed any problems with cooking, baking, etc. with one exception is that when added right before eating it just doesn't have quite the effect you are used to with regular salt. Aside from that, my last purchase of Morton salt was well over 15 years ago.
